double écran et ATI
Salut tout le monde!
Je me bats pour avoir le double écran!
bon, j'ai installé les dépots fglrx
Mon xorg.conf est:

salut pirouss
On dirait que tu as modifié ton xorg.conf à la main.
Le plus simple c'est de réinstaller la sauvegarde de ton xorg.conf original et de lancer la commande suivante :
sudo aticonfig --initial=dual-head
Ensuite dans la Section "ServerLayout", tu auras la ligne
Screen "aticonfig-Screen[1]" RightOf "Default Screen"
où tu pourras modifier le "RightOf" en "LeftOf" si besoin.
A partir de là, tu auras un double écran indépendant. Pour le big desktop, je n'ai jamais réussi à l'installer correctement (le curseur de la souris se transformait en gros paté immonde), j'ai abandonné les essais, le double écran indépendant me satisfait entièrement.
N'oublie pas d'ajouter à la fin de ton xorg.conf:

Voici mon xorg ati fonctionnel, avec big ecran !

De plusieurs programmes ou systèmes d'exploitation en occurrence, le plus performant n'est jamais retenu comme standard !

et si tu remplaces "vesa" par "ati" dans ton xorg.conf original et que tu relances ton pc, qu'est-ce que çà donne ?
Si çà fonctionne, refait par dessus un :
sudo aticonfig --initial=dual-head

TON cas est plus simple avec une nvidia.
De mon côté, j'installe le pilote proprio et je fais
sudo aticonfig --initial=dual-head
et hop terminé
