Antialiasing sur carte nVidia

Bonjour, ceci est mon premier post sur ce forum alors si-vou-plé soyez gentil big_smile tongue lol

Voilà, j'ai installé Ubuntu 6.06 pour pouvoir bénéficier du 64 bits (j'ai un Amd X2 4400+) pour Blender (2.42a)

Les différentes installations ne se sont pas trop mal passées bien que je n'y comprenne rien tongue
Ma carte graphique (nVidia 7800 GT) à l'air de bien fonctionner cependant bien que j'ai fais des réglages (via NVIDIA X SERVER SETTINGS), lorsque je lance Blender, je n'ai pas d'affichage antialiasé (et probablement pas d'optimisation open gl). A chaque redémarrage de l'ordi, il faut que je lance l'utilitaire nVidia avant Blender pour pouvoir avoir l'affichage antialiasé (les réglages restent en mémoires).

As-tu précisé le pilote nvidia dans ton xorg.conf ?

Et bien j'ai suivi ces étapes: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia.run et choisi la config auto donc après...

Si ça vient de là, ben je ne sais pas comment configurer tongue

tu peux tester ton accélération matérielle avec l'utilitaire glxgears.
Lance la commande glxgears dans un terminal, si tout va bien tu devrais voir apparaître une animation fluide avec toutes les 5 secondes l'affichage dans ta console du débit d'image (en fps).

J'ai déjà lancé ce truc, j'obtiens un bon score (une moyenne de 5600 et des brouette si je me souviens bien) tongue

Mon problème n'est pas que l'accélération matérielle ne marche pas, je peux très bien bosser avec Blender sans avoir eu à démarrer l'utilitaire nVidia avant, de plus la résolution de mon écran est de 1600x1200 alors qu'avant c'était 1280x1024 max (sans parler du ventilo qui est silencieux tongue ). Mon seul problème est que si je veux avoir un affichage antialiasé, je dois lancer l'utilitaire nVidia, mais pourtant les réglages (aa4x...) sont enregistrés...

C'est marrant car j'ai le même matériel que toi (cpu + cg) et ce « truc » tourne à plus de 13000 fps sur ma dapper 32 bits.

Veux-tu mettre la sortie de « cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log » entre des balises code pour voir si y pas des erreurs.
Tiens donne aussi une copie /etc/X11/xorg.conf

lol alors là oui y a comme un prob lol

J'ai tapé cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log et il m'a sorti une liste bien longue, tu veux que je copie tout? (parce que moi pour te dire ce qui va et ce qui va pas...)
Par contre ensuite j'ai tapé /etc/X11/xorg.conf dans un autre terminal et bash: /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Permission non accordée

edit: je viens de refaire glxgears et là j'ai bien une moyenne de 12000fps ouf lol lol

xorg.conf est un fichier de configuration, soit tu l'ouvres avec un éditeur de text puis tu fais un copier-coller ou bien tu utilises la commande cat par exemple : cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf puis tu fais ton copier coller à partir du terminal dans lequel tu as lancé la dite commande.
Tu peux les afficher ici mais dispose dans des balises « Code » pour chacun.

Bon ben là je ne vois pas grand chose de mauvais.
Si ce n'est la presence d'un module DRI dans mon xorg.conf (donc chargé au démarrage) qui n'apparait pas dans ton fichier de configuration.
Maintenant tu utilises peut-être un pilote plus récent que le  mien et qui rend obsolètes les fonctionnalités de ce module. Fonctionnalités que je ne connais pas vraiment à dire vrai. Peut-être faut-il chercher de ce coté là ? Voici mon xorf.conf (je tourne avec le pilote des dépôts officiels)

Ben j'ai installé Ubuntu ce week-end, donc j'ai pris les derniers pilotes en date chez nVidia, le NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8776-pkg2.run

Je suppose que tu n'as rien fait de spécial pour avoir ce DRI tongue

Salut,
je viens de passé à Edgy avec installation de la dernière beta du pilote nvidia et l'application nvidia-xconfig à effectivement supprimé le module DRI dans mon xorg.conf.
Ce module permet entre autre l'accès directe à la carte graphique et l'implémentation d'opengl. Cela dit il semble qu'il soit devenu obsolète depuis les derniers pilotes.

De mon coté ton fonctionne correctement pour l' affichage en général et la fluidité des séquences d'images.
Remarque : ayant installé Beryl en suivant le tuto correspondant, deux options ont dues être ajoutées au xorg.conf.
Dans la section « Screen » :

Bon, j'ai installé Edgy Eft (depuis un cd) mais...

Après l'install j'ai installé les pilotes nVidia comme expliqué ici, en cherchant dans Synaptic:

Donc j'ai suivi les étapes à la lettre puis peu de temps après j'ai redémarré l'ordi et au démarrage, donc, lorsque la résolution passe à 1600x1200, j'obtiens l'écran noir pendant environ 1 seconde (je pense que c'est normal, j'avais pareil lorsque je lançais nvidia-settings sous dapper).

J'en profite pour installer Blender depuis Synaptic et lorsque je le lance, j'ai un petit bug d'affichage (ça "clignotte" entre les fenêtres à peu près au milieu de l'écran). Donc je lance nvidia-settings pour faire mes réglages et là le bug dans Blender à disparu (puis j'ai mon antialiasing tongue)

Donc pour vérifier mon problème de départ, je redémarre l'ordi et là, ben toujours pas d'antialiasing au démarrage et les réglages ne sont pas enregistré (alors que l'enregistrement auto de la session est coché dans système>prefs>sessions) et je suis donc obligé de lancer nvidia-settings et de refaire les réglages. De plus, je n'obtiens pas l'écran noir et il met plus de temps à se lancer.

Je lance donc nvidia-settings dans un terminal et j'obtiens ça:

Bonjour les gens et petit up de mon problème vieux de 2 mois LOL

Donc mon problèmes est le suivant: J'ai installé Edgy puis le dernier driver nVidia pour AMD64 (j'ai donc un X2 4400+) et tout fonctionne (j'ai même réussi a installer sur un RAID0 LOL). Seulement NVIDIA X Server ne garde pas en mémoire mes réglages d'antialiasing. Chaque fois que je redémarre, l'antialiasing est de nouveau à 0... Je m'en passerais bien si cela ne provoquait pas un bug d'affichage avec Blender.
