install server Dapper MAJ Efty ou pas?Résolu pas grd intéret

Voici ci dessus un copier coller des questions

Sur un p3 663mgh si je veux en faire un maître serveur totale, est ce que je peux courrir le risque de mettre à jour de Dapper lts à Efty debut novembre ? ou le laisser en Dapper lts et mettre Efty à coté de win$ sur mon p4 3giga? le p3 à 512 ram sdr et le p4 1024 ddr

c'est le p3 qui sera le 1° dans le réseau et le p4 sera en client (vue que le p3 a juste (K)(X)Ubuntu et le p4 aura w$ et une autre Linux ou alors Efty - suivant la réponse)

voilà si quelqu'un pouvait me dire (c'est pour éviter tout risque de plantage que je demande)

D'abords c'est pas "Efty" mais "Edgy Eft" et à la limite "Edgy" tout court
Ensuite pour un serveur y'a pas un grand intérêt à passer à Edgy, mais si tu aimes avoir les dernières version des logiciels pourquoi pas. pour ton poste client je ne vois pas de contre-indiquation à la mise à jour.

ok je mettrai edgy sur le client et je laisse dapper sur le serveur (en plus c'est vrai que lts suis tranquille jusque au 1 juin 1° juin 2008
