[résolu] carte graphique g200 multi ecrans
Bonjour à tous,
je suis nouveau sur Ubuntu et je revendique mon status de 'boulet linuxien':lol:.
J'ai une carte G200 Matrox multi-monitor ( 1280*1024 sur 3ecrans avec XP) mais je n'ai que 800+600 avec Ubuntu et seulement 1 écran activé.:(
Je ne trouve pas grand chose sur le sujet alors si quelqu'un pouvait me sortir la tête de l'eau?:(

Quelle version d'ubuntu utilises-tu ?
Quel est le contenu du fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf , sur ta machine ?

C'est la Ubuntu 6.06 LTS téléchargée sur le site hier.

Essaye un truc:
dans ta section device

EndSectionremplace "vesa" par "mga". Et relance ton serveur X.
ça devrait être mieux, déjà. Tiens moi au courant.

Alors moi, j'ai pas mal galérer avec ma Matrox G400 et mes 2 écrans...
Je ne sais pas trop comment ça va se passer avec ta G200, mais tu peux t'inspirer de http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=62198 où j'explique mes déboires et la solution que j'ai trouvé, pas plus tard que ce matin...

Bon, il vaut mieux tard que jamais. J'avais abandonné parceque ça merdait et ensuite j'avais d'autres chats à fouetter...
Ceci dit, merci Lionel pour le tuyau car le système fonctionne avec 2 écrans (je fournis le xorg.conf ci-dessous).
Je n'arrive pas a dépasser le 1280*1024 en ecran1 et 800*600 sur l'écran 2 mais bon, il ne faut peut-être pas demander la lune non plus!;)
