915Resolution sur Dell Inspiron 9400

Pour pouvoir utiliser la résolution maxi 1440x900
j'ai installé 915Resolution, et simplement rajouté cette résolution dans mon xorg.conf

ca marche mais ca marche aussi si je désinstalle 915Resolution aussi je me demande comment activer réellement 915Resolution

ici la copie de mon xorg.conf

je precise que je ne sais pas quoi mettre a la place de "vesa" 915 n'existant pas sur mon système apres install de 915REsolution

Merci de m'aiguiller si possible

J'ai installé par Synaptic 915resolution sur mon portable (carte 915GM) pour pouvoir utiliser la résolution 1280x768.
J'ai laissé le driver i810 qui avait été choisi lors de l'install.
