Driver NVDIA : plantage en quittant l'environnement X

Bonjour,

j'ai un problème avec les driver NVIDIA, que ce soit avec les driver dispo avec ubuntu ou le driver .run de chez Nvidia, tout se passe tres tres bien jusqu'au moment où je veux quitter le mode graphique ou le redémarrer : PLANTAGE, ECRAN NOIR,

il me semble meme entendre les ventilateur de ma carte graphique s'arreter ...

je suis donc contanné à utiliser le driver "nv"

pour info j'ai une GeForce FX 5700 Ultra

qu'un a t'il une solution ???

j'ai la kubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger

j'ai installé le driver Nvidia avec la documentation http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia

et comme ça ne marchais pas, j'ai tenté le driver .rum en suivant cette page http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia.run

mais j'ai eu le meme resultat,

Le driver est actuellement "nv", mais quand je le remplace, apres voir installer le driver Nvidia, par "nvidia" c'est là que ça j'ai les problèmes cités plus haut ....

Perso, j'ai installé les pilot Nvidia pas synaptic et juste remplavé nv par nvidia et sa a fonctionné, j'ai pas de pc sous la main avec une carte nvidia ici, je suis en vacances....

je te conseil de regenerer un xorg.conf avec l'outil nvidia-xconfig pour partir d'une situation propre

Dans mon tuto, j'ai écris qu'il fallait commenter aussi la ligne   Load    "GLcore" dans la section Module
Ensuite pourquoi as-tu commenté la ligne BusID        "PCI:3:0:0" dans la section Device ??
Je ne dis pas ce que ca va regler ton probleme mais c une piste...

j'ai l'impression que le problème est réglé,

j'ai généré un xorg.conf avec nvidia-xconfig mais ça n'a rien fait
alors j'ai décommenté le ligne BusID ... et ça à marché

rectification ... ça ne marche toujours pas ... c'est pire : ça ne plante pas tout le temps

en fait, maintenant rien que le fait de basculler dans une console en mode texte (Ctrl+Alt+F1), j'obtient des signe totalement incohérents, et vouloir retourner sur le mode graphique me plante tout ...

bon ... j'ai l'impression que je ne vais pas pouvoir utiliser la 3D sous kubuntu, pour info : ça marchait tres bien sous mandrake c'est pour ça que je ne comprend pas ...

Au cas ou, dans ton fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst, essai d'enlever l'option 'splash'

title        Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.12-10-k7
root        (hd0,1)

Chez moi ça a réglé tous ces problèmes... mais il n'y a plus de splashscreen...
