problème de maj des paquets

Bonsoir,

Lorsque je clic sur la flèche rouge pour lancer les maj, le gestionnaire m'indique le message d'erreur suivant:


Impossible d'initialiser les données sur les paquets

Un problème insoluble est apparu lors de l'initialisation des données sur les paquets.

Veuillez signaler cette erreur comme un bogue du paquet « update-manager » et inclure le message d'erreur suivant :

'E:Vous avez dépassé le nombre de descriptions que cette version d'APT est capable de traiter., E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/fr.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_intrepid_universe_i18n_Translation-fr, E:Les listes de paquets ou le fichier « status » ne peuvent être analysés ou lus.'


Est ce que quelqu'un peut m'expliquer ce que je dois faire?

Bonsoir,

Etant débutant total sur linux, je ne sais pas vraiment comment rechercher les informations dont vous me parlez. Pourriez vous m'expliquer comment faire?

1)Ouvrire une console : Applications>Accessoires>Terminal
2)Tapez la commande : sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
3)Copier/coller le contenue ici entre les balises "Code"

Ok, j'ai trouvé où décocher les sources Intrepid. J'ai fait une mauvaise manip lors de l'utilisation du générateur en ligne. Merci de ton aide.
