[Résolu] Vérification avant nouvelle installation

Bonjour,
Je veux installer Kubuntu 24.04 à la place de Linux Mint, mais je ne suis pas certain d'appliquer les bons paramètres (j'ai déjà eu une expérience malheureuse et je ne souhaiterai pas récidiver smile ). J'hésite surtout par rapport à l'EFI ...
Je souhaite garder un dual-boot windows 10 et installer Kubuntu sur le même disque (dev/nvme0n1), mais placer mon /home sur un second disque (dev/sda) que je viens d'installer. Je souhaite évidemment pouvoir accéder aux partitions utilisées par Windows.

Bonjour.
La photo.
Elle ne s'affiche pas car tu as directement collé son adresse.
Il aurait fallu cliquer sur la 13ème icône au-dessus de la zone de saisie.
Cela aurait ouvert une zone de saisie te permettant d'y loger l'adresse et d'y ajouter un  commentaire.

Ton windows est installé en EFI.
Avant de lancer l'installation, supprime la partition swap car il n'y en a plus besoin. De plus, tut'es trompé sur sa taille ( des Mo au lieu de Go).
Tu dois choisir  partitionnement manuel
En théorie, la partition EFI devrait être automatiquement sélectionnée.
Tu alloueras la partition EXT4 du nvme au point de montage / en ext4.
Tu cocheras la case formater pour supprimer mint.
Tu alloueras la partition SDA1 que tu auras préalablement créée en EXT4 au point de montage /home.

Mes commentaires.
Tu ferais peut-être mieux de pas créer une partition home.
Mais de créer une partition de données dans le disque SDA.
    Tu pourrais même la créer en NTFS afin que windows en profite, Sinon en EXT4.
Cela se fait après l'installation ou dés maintenant sous mint pour sauver les données du home s'il est intégré au logiciel.

Bonjour geole,
J'ai essayé d'installer kubuntu, mais le programme d'installation demandait que la partition EFI fasse au minimum 300 Mio. J'ai donc essayé d'augmenter la taille de cette partition et de déplacer la partition suivante, mais l'installation a planté !
Depuis le grub ne démarre plus et je ne peux lancer ni linux, ni windows sad .
Le premier message qui apparaît est 

error: file'/boot' not found

puis

Voici ce que je te propose.
Booter avec le support d'installation
Lancer gparted.
Supprimer le drapeau ESP de la partition P1
Supprimer la partition P7 ( le swap)
Se positionner sur la partition P5 ( Linux).
Rétrécir de 284 Mo cette partition.
Se positionner sur l'espace libre de 300 Mo qui vient de se créer.
Fabriquer une partition FAT32,
Lui mettre le drapeau ESP.
Quitter gparted.
Relancer l'installation.

Nota. La structure de boot de windows est intacte.
Les commandes gparted nécessitent de faire exécuter les actions afin qu'elles soient réellement faites sinon, elles restent simulées.

Je n'ai pas compris la présence du disque SDB.
Il est intitulé Verbatim STORE N GO
cela serait un disque externe  ne faisant plus que 7.5 GiB au lieu de au moins 1 TO

J'ai fait les modifs que tu as indiqué et cela fonctionne ! Encore une fois, merci ! smile
Je ne regrette pas d'utiliser Linux, car la réactivité sur le forum est un plus indéniable ...
Pour ce qui concerne du périphérique Verbatim STORE N GO, c'est la clé avec laquelle j'ai lancé Kubuntu.

Dernière question, est-il nécessaire de recréer un swap ?

Bonjour.
En standard, il existe un fichier swap. Ce qui est suffisant.

Afin de ne pas perturber windows dans ses mises à jour de boot,
Tu installeras gparted.
Tu supprimeras le drapeau ESP de la partition P6.
Tu remettras le drapeau ESP sur la partition P1.
Nota. C'est depuis le fichier /etc/fstab que le fichier de boot à maintenir est authentifié.
