libreoffice lenteur au lancement

Bonjour
Assez récemment, mais sans pouvoir lier à une intervention quelconque.
Le lancement de Libreoffice (ver. 7.4.4.2  ) est particulièrement lent - parfois près d'une minute - La fenêtre de chargement s'affiche, avec le curseur de chargement qui évolue puis se bloque au tiers environ. Silence radio !!
Surveillance système confirme la création du processus soffice, de même que l'application LibreOffice Writer (par ex.)
Enfin, subitement, la fenêtre Writer ( ou clac, ou draw ...) s'ouvre et fonctionne correctement.
Lancé en console, pas d'erreur affichée!
Suppression du répertoire .config/libreoffice : pas de changement. désinstallation, purge et ré installation : pas de changement !
Mise à jour Java : pas de changement !

A noter: si une application de la suite est déjà lancée, le lancement d'une autre se fait correctement, instantanément !

Hello,

utilises-tu beaucoup de polices de caractères, en installes / supprimes-tu souvent ?

Comment est-installé ce LibreOffice ( version depuis les dépôts de la distribution, via apt format deb ; depuis un ppa, toujours via apt format deb ; au format snap depuis discover ; autre format genre flatpak ou appimage ) ? ?

Tu as toujours cette lenteur au démarrage de LibreOffice, ou seulement dans certaines circonstances ( tu as d'autres tâches en cours, beaucoup de logiciels déjà ouverts ) ? ? ?

C'est pour essayer de défricher ton contexte…

Pour répondre à tes questions:
Ma dernière installation de Libreoffice l'a été depuis les dépots ubuntu. Le problème se manifestement apparemment dans toutes circonstances, quelque soit le nombre de logiciels actifs ou de fenêtres ouvertes. Je n'ai pas trouvé de conditions critiques ou pas.
Côté polices, j' en ai 35 d'installées !  Je ne m'étais jamais posé la question. Ton message m'a alerté. J'ai donc installé font-manager et désactivé une partie de celles ci. Après reboot, cela semble réglé !
Je regarde comment supprimer définitivement ces polices désactivées, mais laisse ce sujet ouvert pour le moment, je ne suis pas certain encore.

Montre, en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande :

dpkg -l | grep -i office

et d'éventuels paquets cassés :

dpkg -l | grep -v ^ii

Qu'en penses tu ?

Pour info : suite à ma réponse de 12h37: quelques recherches sur le net au sujet des polices, etc.. utilisation de dolphin pour voir les fichiers police installés; nouvel essai de Libreoffice : 9a bloque à nouveau.
Redémarrage systeme : lancement libreoffice ok: quasi immédiat !
Je reessaie maintenant: ça bloque !   apparemment, juste après chargement système c'est ok, puis après quelque activité, cela bloque.

Pour purger les résidus de configuration marqués "rc" : 

sudo apt purge ~c

comme expliqué à la machine à café et rajouté dans  ce message

L'idée N'est PAS de désinstaller les polices, pas forcément.
35 c'est rien ;-) perso j'en ai des centaines, et LO fonctionne bien.
C'est une bonne idée d'avoir installé font-manager, pour par ex. désactiver les polices non-latines sans pour autant les désinstaller ( elles reviendraient avec certaines mises à jour / à niveau / ou réinstallations de logiciels. )

Il s'agit plutôt régénérer le cache des polices via :

sudo fc-cache -rv	# pour les polices installées côté système, pour tous les utilisateurs
fc-cache -rv		# pour celles installées dans $HOME, pour l'utilisateur d'une session.

Les « polices » de caractères sont en fait des milliers de tout petits fichiers, « empaquetés » les uns dans les autres. Les « looped » sont probablement des liens entre éléments, ou des infos structurelles redondantes.
Rien d'alarmant.

Les invalid cache file, tu peux les effacer, par exemple via :

rm -rvi /home/jjp/.cache/fontconfig/*-le64.cache-7

J'en sait un peu plus sur les polices et l'utilisation de ces commandes forcent à en chercher la justification et leur utilisation ! Parfait pour apprendre.
Je continue à analyser mon problème qui est toujours présent ( + d'une minute pour lancer Calc )
