lenteur Ubuntu 20.04 (navigation internet, visio,...)
Bonjour,
J'utilise Ubuntu depuis quelques années déjà et lors du changement de mon laptop je suis passé de la version 18.04 à la version 20.04. Et après plusieurs jours d'utilisation je rencontre de gros ralentissements lors d'une utilisation basique de mon Pc.
J'ai tenté d'identifier les processus pouvant poser problème pour mettre à jour les logiciels ou réinstaller les logiciels posant problème. Même après une réinstallation complète je continue à avoir de gros ralentissements avec notamment Firefox qui me prendre 90% de CPU avec 3 onglets ouverts.
Pourriez-vous m'aider à diagnostiquer le problème?

Chose peut-être importante aussi le laptop est "docké" sur un dock DELL pour le branchement d'un deuxième écran.
Chose étrange, je viens d'installer gnome-session-flashback et même sans passer par une session Metacity, le PC est devenu beaucoup plus fluide. Mon CPU plus stable. Je ne comprends pas le lien.

Hello la communauté,
Le problème est de nouveau présent. Je ne sais pas trop de quel côté chercher. Je me retrouve avec une lenteur globale dans n'importe quelle appli (slack/firefox/phpstorm). Si vous avez des outils ou des idées de manipulations à faire pour trouver l'origine du problème ça serait super.

Astuce pour copier / coller sans erreur :

Petit témoignage perso : avec mon PC Dell de 2011 ( dual core Pentium P6200 ) sous Ubuntu 20.04 lts
Ce n'est pas forcément le même souci mais on ne sait jamais, je préfère le signaler tout de même.
Je remarquais parfois des grosses lenteurs de la machine -> grosse surprise en ouvrant le moniteur système : il n'y avait plus qu'un seul processeur détecté !
Confirmé d'ailleurs avec la commande lscpu ou encore un neofetch, glups !
Le microcode Intel est installé et il est à jour...
A tout hasard, petit tour dans le Bios pour recharger les valeurs par défaut. Après un redémarrage tout est revenu à la normale : mes 2 cœurs sont réapparus lol
J'avoue ne rien comprendre à cette histoire. C'est la première fois que je vois un truc pareil.
Je surveillerais désormais et si ce souci de détection de cœur recommence je reviendrais témoigner ici...
edit : le PC dispose d'un SSD et de 4 Go de ram donc il fonctionne plutôt bien même avec ce processeur plus tout jeune.
