[Abandonné] Recommandations pour nettoyage Ubuntu

Bonjour,

Mon Ubuntu toujours mis à jour (20.04.2 LTS) met aujourd'hui 4min30 au moins pour se lancer et être au point de pouvoir être utilisé avec la bureautique.

Mon Ubuntu, également mis à jour sur mon nouvel ordi reconditionné, donc aussi version 20, met 30 à 40 secondes.

Je suspecte qu'un jour il en arrivera aussi à 4min30, ce qui n'est, vous me l'accorderez, pas une bonne chose! Donc il doit y avoir un fouillis de choses qui empêchent un démarrage rapide.

Je suppose que parmi vous il y en a qui se sont trouvés déjà face à ce problème et qui auront des solutions à me proposer.

Pour nettoyer les fichiers de configuration devenus sans objets et marqués "rc", et uniquement ces fichiers, exécute :

Bonjour,
Je suppose que tu as maintenu ton système "à jour" en faisant des mises à niveau pour passer d'une version du système à la suivante...
Nonobstant le fait que ton "nouvel ordi reconditionné" n'ait pas les mêmes caractéristiques matérielles que le précédent, ta remarque démontre qu'un système fraîchement installé est manifestement plus véloce qu'un que l'on a petit à petit fait évoluer.
Et cela conforte l'opinion de ceux qui pensent qu'il est préférable de faire une installation fraîche de la nouvelle version du système plutôt qu'une mise à niveau. Sinon à chaque fois, au moins de temps en temps pour nettoyer l'environnement système de toutes les scories accumulées au fil des évolutions successives du système.


Plus de 50 ans d'informatique, ça en fait des lignes de commandes en console, mais on n'avait pas le choix...
Excellente raison pour, aujourd'hui qu'on le peut, utiliser au maximum les INTERFACES GRAPHIQUES !
Important : Une fois résolu, pensez à clore votre sujet en ajoutant [Résolu] devant le titre du 1er message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci.

Ce paquet devrait-il être supprimé, il y a déjà linux-generic, linux-headers-generic et linux-image-generic d'installés ?

Xubu, après le time, je devais faire le blame, mais ce dernier s'est arrêté, bloqué, sans arriver à la fin.

Et j'ai fait ce que tu as indiqué dans le message de 13h27, par contre le recopier ici est sans doute trop long.

Bonjour,
Pour répondre à erresse sur la nécessité de faire une réinstallation complète à chaque nouvelle version, eh bien c'est pas toujours indispensable!
Exemple: Dell xps acheté avec Ubuntu 12.04LTS a "subit" toutes les nouvelles versions en mises à jour jusqu’à l'actuelle 20.04. Il y a eu beaucoup de turnover logiciel est aucun entretien particulier.
Test à l'instant du temps de démarrage : 31 secondes avant la demande de mot de passe.
Donc dans le cas de sonia 67 il doit y avoir d'autres causes.

Bonjour à tous

@jmg17, merci d'avoir partagé tes expériences. Je ne me souviens plus ce qu'avait mon ordinateur à l'achat, peut-être du 14 ou du 16??? En tout cas, cela me donne de l'espoir de le voir démarrer plus vite un jour. Car je n'ai pas envie de faire une nouvelle installation, encore moins une à chaque nouvelle version, je n'ai pas le temps nécessaire.

Donc, visiblement j'ai déjà nettoyé plein de choses grâce aux commandes de Xubu1957, mais comme cela n'a rien changé à la lenteur, je vais attendre d'autres lumières.

Quand je fais un démarrage, cela dure un certain d'ici qu'apparaissent les icônes à gauche pour trouver mon terminal et pendant que je taperai les commandes il aura fini par tout charger je pense. Mais je vais faire mon possible pour vous poster le résultat dès que possible. Merci.
