Bonjour à tous,

Après plusieurs tentatives, recherches google et essais de solutions trouvées sur stackoverflow, je viens vers vous concernant l'installation de mysql sur ubuntu WSL.

Voila la commande pour installer mysql :

j'ai essayé énormement de choses comme ce qui est indiqué ici
https://askubuntu.com/questions/760724/ … sql-server ( bien sur avec la version 8.0)
mais rien n'a fonctionné jusque là, auriez vous une idée du problème ?

Modération : sujet déplacer dans la section «Ubuntu pour Windows »

Le problème est sans doute spécifique à WSL.
Est-ce que tu as vu la réponse à cette question sur Stackoverflow :

En tout cas il faut voir les logs d'erreur mysql. Les commandes demandées en #2 n'apporteront rien.

Non effectivement car je pensais que mysql n'était pas installé du coup au vu de l'erreur je n'ai pas cherché a aller consulter l'error_log

Tu as exactement les mêmes symptômes que dans le lien que j'ai donné.
Même si la réponse à la question n'a pas été notée et que le sujet n'est pas marqué comme résolu, tu peux appliquer ce qui est indiqué, c'est tout à fait pertinent. Uniquement cette étape :

I disabled the use of Native AIO by creating a new config file /etc/mysql/conf.d/no_native_aio.conf:

[mysqld]
innodb_use_native_aio = 0

Puis :

sudo dpkg --configure -a

je n'ai pas encore essayé la solution proposée dans le post stackoverflow.

Ce qui est étrange c'est que un

sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start

fonctionne...
J'ai bien le prompt mysql quand j'essaie de me connecter..

j'ai téléchargé phpMyAdmin, et là pas de problème non plus.. si je creer une base depuis PMA je la retrouve bien en ligne de commande, et PMA me dis que ma table creeé pour tester est bien en InnoDB..je ne comprends pas

je vais quand même essayer d'appliquer ce qui est dit dans le post

J'ai appliqué ce qui est dit dans le post, j'ai du faire les étapes jusqu'au bout à savoir :

and I had to trick dpkg into believing that postinstall script had run successfully by:

adding exit 0 as the second line in /var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-8.0.postinst
running sudo dpkg --configure -a
removing the exit 0 from /var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-8.0.postinst

Je n'ai plus d'erreur tout semble ok (même si je n'ai pas saisi ce que j'ai fait concrètement)
