Diagnostiquer la cause d'un plantage ?
Bonjour à tous,
Mon serveur plante la nuit (parfois) et je n'arrive pas vraiment à savoir d'où cela provient...
Je pense que coté sécurité j'ai mis les bases (filtrage des ports via le routeur et uniquement ports nécessaires d'ouverts)...
De toute maniere je n'ai ouvert que les ports 80,22,443
SSH est sécurisé à l'aide d'une clef RSA donc en gros personne a part moi qui ait le fichier de clef ne peut y acceder.
Bref, j'ai scruté les logs pour voir à quel endroit ça plante et tout ce que j'ai trouvé c'est dans syslog mais je ne sais l'interpreter. Pourriez vous m'aider svp ?

un serveur web (apache?)
un proxy ?
un serveur mail ?
un serveur de fichiers ?
etc...
selon ce que c'est et le logiciel utilisé on pourra te dire quels fichiers log regarder

Voici ce qu'il fait ou du moins ce que j'ai mis en place après installation neuve de ubuntu server :
- SSH : sécurisation par fichier de clef privée/publique RSA
- Apache : mise en place de mon NDD + config partie SSL
- Hellanzb : installation + installation scripts zussaweb
- Samba : Mise en place d'un partage de fichiers des plus basiques qu'il soit (aucune sécurité par auth)
- IpTables : Fermeture de tous les ports sauf 22/80/443
- Fail2Ban : installation
- Installation d'une imprimante Kyocera Laser noir vieille comme le monde puis partage via cups et samba (pour la partie pilotes windows).
Au niveau des logs : j'ai criblé justement tous ceux que j'ai pu et je n'ai malheureusement trouvé de louche que ce que j'ai copié plus haut...
Alors par contre ce matin en rebootant j'ai remarqué un truc que je ne connaissais pas : quand on reboot, certains logs sont rotatés par logrotate ce qui fait que je crois qu'il est vide alors qu'il est simplement collé dans un autre fichier...
Bref voila pour mon histoire docteur

Je ne suis pas sur de mes billes mais j'ai l'impression que c'est hellanzb qui plante ma machine... Comment savoir si c'est vraiment de là que ça provient ?
EDIT : c'est pas hellanzb qui me fait planter alors là je ne comprend plus rien !!!!! ras le bol de linux ou comment bouffer des heures et des heures à essayer de comprendre d'où vient le problème (notez que je n'écarte pas que le problème puisse se trouver entre la chaise et le clavier mais bon...)
EDIT2 : je suis en train de refermer toutes les portes histoire de comprendre d'où cela peut provenir... J'ai fermé les ports qui étaient ouverts sur la machine : idem. Ce qui est bizarre c'est qu'il plante le soir, et il plante encore plus quand je m'en sers... (ça ne sert pas vraiment à grand chose que je dise tout ça mais bon ça me fait un pense bete et en plus ça peut me donner des idées en écrivant )
EDIT3 : ptet bin qu'c'est l'imprimante... Elle clignotait bizarre et j'avais pas calé. Imprimante éteinte, checkup des jobs -> vide... priez pour moi !
EDIT4 : c'est pas ça... Je crois que j'ai pigé... Le pc s'est éteint tout seul... c'est quand meme bizarre ! en plus il s'est éteint vraiment tranquillou.... je touche la tour et là : ça brule ! en gros je pense que c'est dès que je sollicite trop le CPU, ça chauffe et ça plante. Je vais revoir l'install des ventilos...
C'est bien ça : probleme de chauffe....
