Problème d'affichage sur une TV - Help me

Bonjour à tous !

J'ai installé Ubuntu sur mon PC (PIII 525Mhz, 256mo de Ram, Catre vidéo Nvidia riva tnt2 model 64 - 32mo) et je rencontre ce problème:

Lorsque je suis en 800X600, je n'ai qu'1/3 de l'écran d'ubuntu qui s'affiche sur ma tv et lorsque je suis en 640X480 je n'ai pas non plus tout l'écran.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider?

Salut

J'ai exactement la même carte graphique que toi, et je veux exactement configurer mon xorg pour l'afficher sur une télé, de ce fait j'aimerai bien savoir si il t'était possible de poster ton fichier xorg.conf ainsi que la procédure que tu as effectuée pour en arriver là.

Pour ma part, j'ai réussi à obtenir brièvement un affichage sur une télé 33cm à l'aide de nvtv, mais je n'avais pas que 1/3 de l'écran. Si tu expliques la démarche que tu as effectué, je pourrai te dire si j'ai le même problème chez moi.

Salut.

Eh bien en fait j'ai voulu installer ubuntu sur mon pc. J'ai booter le live cd sur ma tv et une fois ubuntu charger, je n'avais plus ou moins qu'un 1/3 du bureau d'ubuntu qui remplissait l'écran de ma tv. Donc impossible de faire quoi que ce soit étant donné que je ne voyais même pas les barres de tâches etc. J'ai alors installer ubuntu à l'aide d'un moniteur. Quand j'ai remis mon pc sur ma tv, j'ai de nouveau eu ce problème et vu que je n'ai pas internet sur mon pc, je n'ai pas su télécharger des pilotes pour ma carte graphique.

J'ai installé de même depuis un moniteur, mais je n'ai aucun affichage sur ma TV quand je l'a branche. Etant donné que j'ai passé un bon petit moment dans le xorg pour configurer la TV, en postant ton fichier xorg.conf je pourrai surement plus t'aider. Tu peux de même poster ton log Xorg.0.log .

Le blème viens de la différence de résolution entre les deux écrans.
La résolution étant généralement plus importante sur l'écran ( ordinateur ) que sur la TV ceci amène à ne voir que un quart du bureau sur la TV .
Il existe plusieurs solutions de réglages au niveau du xorg qui permet d'avoir plusieurs config
Soit un bureau étendu soit deux bureaux différents.

Après c un choix personnel .....;)
Pour ma part g choisi une config a deux bureau , avec deux résolution différents .

Merci de ton post OLT, mais le problème avec la TNT2 c'est qu'elle ne peut supporter le double écran, c'est soit la TV soit le moniteur.

J'ai lu quelque part qu'il fallait mettre le bureau en "bureau étendu" mais je ne sais pas ce que c'est ni où sa se trouve.

Alors pour récupérer ton fichier xorg.conf tape la commande suivante dans un terminal, cela te l'affichera dans ton terminal :

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Et pour copier le contenu dans un autre fichier ( qui sera disponible dans ton dossier perso ) :

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf > xorg.conf

De même pour le log d'erreur :

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log > xorg.0.log

Voili voilou, tu copie tout ça sur le forum entre les balises [ code] et [ /code]
et on pourra mieux analyser le problème smile

edit : il existe un tutorial dans le wiki permettant de configurer la TVout avec les NVidias à cette adresse : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia_tvout, cependant avec ma TNT2 je n'ai pas réussi.

Déjà il faut que tu installes les drivers proprio de NVidia, et activer l'accélération 3D. Pour toutes ces manipulations je te renvoi au wiki :

Dans un premier temps : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/nvidia
Ensuite tu pourras tester ta sortie TV et l'affiner à l'aide de ce tuto : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia_tvout

Pour ma part je vais me baser de ton xorg.conf pour configurer ma sortie vidéo, et ainsi je pourrai te fournir mon xorg.conf dès que tout sera Ok.

Je ne sais pas installer les pilotes étant donné que je n'ai pas internet sur mon pc. J'utilise le pc de ma soeur pour me connecter au net. Il n'y a pas d'autre solution pour installer les pilotes etc???

Beh tu suis le tutorial sur l'ordinateur de ta soeur et tu télécharges juste ce qu'il te faut en fonction de ton matériel, et après tout média amovible fera l'affaire smile .
