Problem multi ecran est resolution

Bonjour à tous.

Je suis nouveaux sur linux (1 semaine)

Voila, j'ai installer Ubuntu, compize fonctionne super bien en Xgl, Virtual box aussi, mais j'ai de gros probleme avec mes ecrans.

1er écran CRT 17 pouces
2eme écran Mirai plat 19 pouces en 16x10

dans mes preferences de resolution de l'ecran on me propose uniquement 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480

j'ai tenté de modifier xorg.conf, mais sans resultat.

Ce que je voudrais : reussir à avoir mon ecran plat en 1280x960 est mon 2eme ecran en mode etendu

A savoir que ma carte graphique est une Ati radeon x1300 (oops ati est linux j'ai compris que c'est le bordel)

ps : j'ai rechercher au mieux, peut etre pas avec les bon mots, c'est pour cella que je me permet de vous demandez.

Salut!

Avec une carte ATI, j'ai le malheur de t'annoncer que tu ne pourras pas faire tourner Compiz avec un double écran. C'est l'un ou l'autre (remercie ATI pour ses bons pilotes!).

Quoi qu'il en soit, avec mon ATI j'ai un double écran grâce au tuto que voici.

Merci pour cette rapiditer, donc c'est bien ce que je pensais ati n'est pas sympa avec linux, enfin merci pour le tuto c'est super sympa.
