Beryl + Geforce 2 Mx [au secours !!!!]
Bonjour,
je suis nouveau dans le monde linux, et j'ai chez moi un vieux pc sur lequel j'aimerai bien installer beryl.
c'est un athlon thunderbird 1ghz sur une abit kt7 raid avec une geforce2 MX. j'ai installé les nvidia 0.9639
j'ai fai les modif du xorg et si je fais "beryl --test-only" j'obtiens bien :

lorsque je lance beryl manager toutes les bordures des fenetres disparaissent et mon ecran se fige .....
je ne sais plus quoi faire .... ya t il quelqu'un qui a installé beryl avec une carte similaire ?

j'avais la meme config que toi, et j'utilisais les drivers 1.0-7184
ca marchais bien, mais la carte n'a pas assez de mémoire, et si tu ouvres plus de 4 ou 5 fenetres, les nouvelles sont toutes noires.
bref, je pense que tu devras te passer de beryl sur cette petite config.
par contre xcmpmgr lui marchais au poil, et me permettais d'avoir transparence et ombrages.
