[RESOLU] Plantage Geforce 7600 GS + Beryl

salut !!

afin de profiter au mieux des perf 3D sous Linux (Beryl sans XGL, jeux...), je suis passé chez nvidia.
Forcement tout ne se passe pas sans problèmes tongue

Apres avoir pluggué ma nouvelle 7600, j'ai installé les drivers proprio dispo avec Feisty via le "gestionnaire de pilotes propriétaires"

Un p'tit coup de 

 glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: Yes

je m'attaque donc à l'installation de beryl via le tuto se trouvant là
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/beryl_feisty

Je suis méticuleusement ce dernier.
L'installation des paquets se fait sans problèmes.

Des que je lance dans la console

beryl-manager

les bordures de mes fenêtres disparaissent et il ne me reste plus qu'à rebooter la machine pour pouvoir reprendre la main sur l'interface.

petit info complémentaire

apres avoir activé le driver dans le "gestionnaire de pilotes propriétaires", j'ai installé le paquage "nvidia-glx-new"

Mais ca ne change rien sad

J'utilise Beryl 0.2.1, cela peut il poser probleme?

sad rien à faire !!
J'ai tout desinstallé, fait du menage grace à apt-get autoremove et autoclean
J'ai tout reinstallé apres avoir fait une reconfigure server-xorg
Ca plante lamentablement au lancement de beryl-manager sad

j ai Feisty avec une carte graphique nvidia 7600GS et beryl 0.2.1

j ai fait une installation manuel ( car bug du serveur X au redemarrage) en suivant ce tuto  http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/nvidia.run

Et beryl fontionne bien

Pour pouvoir utiliser Beryl, il manque

a la fin de xorg.conf.

Redémarrer le serveur X et cela devrait fonctionner.

merci pour ta participation.
J'ai tenté une installation manuelle mais ... c'est pire sad
Apres l'install, ma carte n'est meme pas detectée et mon serveur X me renvoie un bon vieux "no screen found" hmm

ca ne change rien sad
J'ai egalement ajouté des modules dans la section adéquate dans le xorg comme indiqué dans le wiki Compiz.

Cela m'a permis de lancer une fois beryl-manager sans tout faire planter.
J'ai pu aller dans le menu de beryl-manager (clic droit sur l'icone dans le task manager). Des que je lui ai demandé d'utiliser Beryl (emerald) comme decorateur, ca m'a replanté le server X sad

j ai vu une petite difference dans mon xorg.conf je ne charge pas le module "dri"
essai de le commenter!!

EDIT..;

je viens de redemarrer suite à cette modification.
Je peux definir les Options avancées de Beryl. Que me conseillez vous d'utiliser?

Actuellement les options sont les suivantes:

Type de rendu => Automatique
Composite Overlay Window => Automatique
Plateforme de rendu => Forcer XGL (????!! Forcer NVIDIA?!)
Binding => XGL Binding
Rendu => Automatique (?? XGL?)
Désactiver le reglage GL Yield => decoché

En fait il fallait sélectionner "Forcer NVIDIA" dans la section "Plate forme de rendu"
