[Résolu] Problème de résolution sous Feisty

Tout d'abord bonjour a tous et merci de m'accorder quelque minutes de votre précieux temps ^^.
J'ai récemment effectuer une fresh install de la 7.04. Au premier reboot, ma résol était de 800*600. L'installation a été faite sur un ordinateur portable dont la résolution native de la dalle est de 1400*1050.
Seulement lorsque je met cette résolution, l'écran devient étrange comme le montre cette image.

Pour information ma carte graphique est une ATI 9600 Pro, je n'ai jamais eu de problème semblable sous la 6.06 ou 6.10.

Voilà, toute information concernant la résolution de ce problème serait grandement apprécié.

Bienv'nu au club.

Config perso:
Anciennement edgy, fonctionnait impec.
Fresh install, clean de chez clean donc,
Dalle de laptop 1400x1050, ati x600Mobility
Drivers ati libres installés par défaut
résolution réglée par défaut: 1024x768.
1400x1050, tout comme d'autres (1152x864, 1280x1024) sont dispo dans la boite de dialogue de paramêtrage, mais provoquent un affichage blindé d'artefact exactement comme ce que tu montres.

J'ai pas envie de tester les fglrx:mad:

Pas cool.

Chez moi apres une installation toute neuve je n'ai comme choix que 640*480 800*600 ou 1024*768, meme apres avoir edite xorg.conf. Je tourne avec le pilote libre 'radeon', d'ailleurs le voici mon xorg.conf

Salut, j'ai eu le meme probleme a l'install. d'ailleurs je l'ai toujours apres chaque install d'ubuntu. j'ai une ati rage mobility et la resolution est a 800x600.

pour arranger ca je fait juste

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

. je recommence jusqu'a trouver la bonne combinaison de tous les parametres proposes big_smile.

Acer Extensa 4220, 2Ghz, 512Mo, 80 Go DD, Ubuntu 9.10

Bon j'ai réussi a résoudre le probleme.
J'ai simplement réinstaller une 6.10 et fait une upgrade vers la 7.04, et la O Bonheur, O Joie intense, les résolution haute marchent ^^.
Ca m'a l'air un peu arrache paf comme technique mais sa marche smile.
