hello,
je viens d'installer mon portable sur ubuntu 7, je voudrais installer les driver proprio ati, j'ai suivi ce tutorial

mais ça foire a la fin

La construction du paquet fglrx-kernel-source a échoué. Que │
│ souhaitez-vous faire ?

et là je ne sais pas pourquoi car visiblement les autres étapes se sont bien déroulées

quelqu'un peut m'aider ?
y a t-il un tutorial pour expliquer ça sur la dernière ubuntu ?

oui en fait faut changer simplement bash ati-driver-installer-8.36.5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/edgy par bash ati-driver-installer-8.36.5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/feisty

par contre jai ce pb

sudo aticonfig --initial

Réinitialises ton xorg :

sudo -dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Puis refais ton

Suis "A LA LETTRE" le tuto car tu devrais désactiver AIGLX et les lignes associées à cette action n'apparaissent pas dans ton fichier.

ouai c vrai que un moment le ati config initial m'a enleve tout le xorg, apres j'ai fait le reconfigure xorg, du coup me l'a remis à son stade initial, donc je doi refaire les manip du debut
je vais voir

dans le tutorial que tu m'as proposé, la manip est differente au niveau de l'install du driver
je vois rien apr rapport à AIGLX

c'est bien celui là que tu as suivi ?

oki bon j'ai tout refait à la lettre et ça marche
ouf et merci merci beaucoup, j'ai du tenter un bon paquet de fois
maintenant le probleme vient de beryl

J'ai égalé suivi A LA LETTRE le tuto de Romu mais j'obtiens toujours le même Abandon (core dump) que toi Freaks. Comment as tu réussi à de plus avoir ce problème ?

Merci pour ta réponse,

j'ai réinitialisé le xorg et j'obtiens toujours le même résultat. Par contre j'ai trouvé à l'adresse ci-dessous une méthode qui inclue l'application d'un patch aux drivers ATI. Après redémarrage, j'ai enfin d'accélaration graphique avec ma carte ATI.
