[RESOLU] Radeon 9800se

Bonjour à tous,
Je suis sous Edgy Kubuntu, jusqu'a maintenant J'avais une carte graphique radeon 9200 et tout fonctionnait bien.

Aujourd'hui j'installe une Radeon 9800Se et là, lorsque je redémarre mon ecran se retrouve en 1024*760  61Hz alors que normalement il est en 1280*1024 75Hz et impossible de modifier ça!

J'ai parcouru les forum et les pistes que je trouvent ne fonctionnent pas!

apparement il me faudrai le driver libre "R350" mais je ne le trouve nul par

Pouvez vous m'aider SVP

En attendant j'ai remonté ma Radeon 9200 dont voici le XORG.conf:

Salut,

Le driver "R350" fait partie du driver libre "radeon". Dans la section "Device", change la ligne

Driver   "ati"

en

Driver   "radeon"

et redémarre le PC. Dis-moi ensuite si ton problème est résolu.

je ne suis pas spécialiste de ce genre de problème mais si ça peut t'aider :
j'ai une ATI radeon 9800 SE  All in Wonder + un écran LCD 17" iiyama prolite E431S en 1280x1024
j'ai suivi les tutos :

puis
http://wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/fglrx#un_probleme

et j'ai l'accélération graphique et un écran qui fonctionne impec.

En fait en remplacant: "ati" par "radeon"
puis:

ça marche!!!! big_smile

toute fois, je ne sais pas si l'accélération 3d fonctionne car je ne sais pas comment faire pour le vérifier

Si vous pouviez m'indiquer la marche à suivre ce serait génial

Ben là, ton Xorg.conf a été transformé avec le driver vesa, le driver le plus basique (et le plus passe-partout). Essaie de reprendre l'ancien xorg.conf que tu avais posté avant, en incluant le changement entre le driver "ati" et le driver "radeon". En ce qui concerne la ligne "Identifier", je te conseille de ne pas la modifier (après tout, ce n'est qu'un nom), parcequ'elle est utilisée dans d'autres endroits.

Une fois que ce sera fait et que tu auras redémarré, pour voir si tu as l'accélération 3D (normalement, ça devrait être le cas), tapes la commande suivante:

glxinfo | grep rendering

Si tu as comme réponse

Direct rendering: Yes

tu as l'accélération 3D.

EDIT: Lorsque tu modifies le xorg.conf, fais bien attention d'avoir les droits de super-utilisateur, sinon les changements ne seront pas pris en compte

Tout d'abord merci encore pour la réponse.

En fait le problème venait de :

        Option "AccelDFS"    "1" # mettez à 0 si vous avez une carte AGP
size

J'avais donc mis "0" à la place du "1" puisque c'est une carte AGP .....

En tout cas depuis que j'ai remis "1", ça fonctionne wink

Quant à la commande

glxinfo | grep rendering

Elle me renvoie:

machin@Kubuntu:~$ glxinfo | grep rendering
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
direct rendering: Yes
papa@Kubuntu:~$

Donc apparement  l'accélération 3D fonctionne mais je ne comprend pas ce que veux dire:
