[résolu] conky sur tous les bureaux au demarrage ?
salut !
je voudrai avoir conky sur tous les bureaux au demarrage et sans qu'il apparaisse dans la barre des taches .
j'ai Dapper + XGL+compiz .

je sais que quand j'étais sous Dapper j'avais aussi eu des problèmes avec conky surtout pour l'afficher sur tous les bureaux.
Renseigne toi sur devilspie je crois que c'est ça qui peut gérer ton problème. va voir là http://debuntu.free.fr/index.php?2005/11/20/487-conky-m-a-conquis-

merci, j'avais déjà lu tout ça mais devilpspie semble gérer les problemes de clignotements alors que moi je n'en ai pas....
je vais me pencher la dessus mais c'est assz étrange

Désolé je pourrai pas te renseigner énormément, mais dans certains topic j'ai vu que devilspie gérait le positionnement des fenêtre que ce soit pour vouloir afficher une fenêtre sur un autre bureau ou à un endroit précis du bureau.

Alors apparemment il n'as pas été totalement résolu:
J'apporte donc les éléments dont tu as besoin :
Le Conky apparait sur les 4 bureaux :
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager
Les propriétés sont :
*
undecorated qui enlève le tour de la fenêtre
*
below qui permet de mettre la fenêtre de conky sous les autres fenêtres
*
sticky qui laisse la fenêtre de conky sur tous les bureaux
*
skip_taskbar qui enlève conky de la barre des taches
*
skip_pager qui enlève conky du pager (alt-tab)
Le conky reste visible même lorsque tu appuie sur l'icone du retour bureau
own_window_type override
A Noter :
Tu utilise les accelerations de XGL / Beryl, donc cette dernière commande sera plus agréable pour toi, car il retire le conky des choix de programmes quand tu te sers du scale (vue globale organisée des fenêtres)
On demande au conky de rester à sa place pas de nous polluer quand on fait joujou avec les effets graphiques
Voila réponse tardive, mais il me semble que cela servira à bon nombre d'utilisateur de conky

quand à celle-ci :

chez moi c'est sans effet au niveau du scale.

Je cherchais justement tout ça suite à l'installation de Beryl

EDIT : je rectifie, après des tests si je mes
own_window_type override
ça enlève pas la fenêtre de conky quand je clique sur l'icone du bureau sous Beryl mais conky est en premier plan ... Alors que sans cette option il est en arrière plan :s mais il se réduit avec l'icone du bureau ...

Tu as l'option own_window yes ? Si oui il faut la commenter. Sinon les options own_window_hints ne servent à rien dans un fichier .conkyrc dans lequel figure déjà l'option own_window_type override. (voir le man).
Et devilspie ne fonctionne que dans metacity. (voir le README).
Ça m'a fait plaisir de récupérer conky sur tous les bureaux dans Beryl.
Je vais bientôt y passer 100% de mon temps si ça continue ...

attention désactiver l'option own_window yes fait clignoter les icônes du bureau à chaque rafraîchissement de conky chez moi, et ce que je sois sous metacity ou sous beryl ... zut

Hum après des tests, en effet si on met own_window no ou qu'on commente cette ligne ça fait clignoter l'écran et c'est plus qu'énervant :s
Mais si je mes own_window conky se retrouve pas dessus toutes mes autres fenêtres ...

Pour une faute de conjugaison ce n'est pas la mort, ça arrive à tout le monde ... (je peux citer ta faute de grammaire si tu veux ...)
Pour ce qui est du wiki je n'ai rien vu concernant ce genre de problème, notamment avec Beryl, en tout cas pas sur la page de conky

peut-etre bien que cette page a été supprimé, y a pas mal de pages qui disparaissent ces derniers temps sur le wiki.
mes fautes de grammaires sont volontaires, j'écris comme je parle.
tes fautes posent probleme, pour comprendre ce que tu veux dire. tu n'es pas obligé de le prendre mal.
je ne suis pas un virtuose en orthographe, loin de là....
