Changer d'affichage: Xorg vers Wayland. Pas de roue crantée [RESOLU]

Bonjour,
Je cherche à passer de Xorg à Wayland. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas de de roue crantée qui apparaît en bas à droite au moment de mon authentification (même en cliquant sur mon nom, en cliquant partout, en créant un nouveau compte Admin...)
Je suis sur Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

J'ai donc modifié manuellement  la config GDM:

Non elle n'y est pas, sure à 100%.
Je ne sais pas faire de capture d'écran au moment de l'authentification, mais je suis sure de mon coup.
(J'ai réessayé une bonne dizaine de fois, cliquant partout)

Sur ma xubuntu, je n'ai qu'xorg.

Bonjour,

Apparemment, tu as une carte Nvidia. Tu peux essayer avec cette méthode :

sudoedit /etc/default/grub

et à la ligne

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

après splash et en ayant pris soin de laisser une espace, ajoute ce qui suit :

nvidia-drm.modeset=1

Puis

sudo update-grub

Redémarre et dis nous si ça fonctionne.

Apparemment, ce fichier n'a pas d'influence sur le choix de l'environnement graphique, je me demande s'il est( même exécuté au démarrage...
Chez moi, dans ce fichier, j'ai :

# Uncomment the line below to force the login screen to use Xorg
#WaylandEnable = false

Si on en croit le commentaire, le fait que cette ligne soit commentée devrait forcer mon système à démarrer avec Wayland, pourtant le système fonctionne avec Xorg (mais c'est mon choix, je l'ai voulu ainsi). Ce paramètre n'est donc manifestement pas pris en compte.
Cela étant, à moins que lynn n'ait la bonne explication, ce fonctionnement de l'écran d'identification est tout à fait anormal.
Il devrait y avoir la roue dentée qui apparaît en bas à droite de l'écran d'identification, une fois que tu as cliqué sur ton pseudo.
Et là, en effet, on peut choisir de démarrer avec soit "Ubuntu (Wayland)" soit "Ubuntu (Xorg)", option à cocher.


Plus de 50 ans d'informatique, ça en fait des lignes de commandes en console, mais on n'avait pas le choix...
Excellente raison pour, aujourd'hui qu'on le peut, utiliser au maximum les INTERFACES GRAPHIQUES !
Important : Une fois résolu, pensez à clore votre sujet en ajoutant [Résolu] devant le titre du 1er message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci.

C'est peut-être parce qu'à une certaine époque, il était question que Wayland devienne le protocole d'affichage par défaut d'Ubuntu !?
