Mate très lent sans écran ni souris ni clavier branchés - [CONTOURNÉ]
Bonjour,
J'ai récemment posté au sujet d'un problème d'extinction de mon vieux PC sous Mate après avoir configuré LightDM afin de forcer une résolution grapique sans brancher d'écran.
À l'aide de l'un des membres du forum, j'ai résolu ce problème en supprimant le fichier 50-display-setup-script.conf dans LightDM. Sujet précédent
De ce fait, l'ordinateur s'éteint et redémarre avec la commande de l'interface graphique. La configuration de LightDM était donc liée à ce phénomène.
En supprimant ce que j'avais configuré dans LightDM, je me retrouve avec le problème de départ : de la lenteur constante dans l'éxecution du système d'exploitation et des applications et une résolution médiocre.
Quelqu'un pense-t-il bien maîtriser le sujet afin que j'y passe le moins de temps possible, j'ai 8 jours de configurations dans les pattes et j'avoue que je sature un peu.
Précision : il s'agit d'un PC qui me servira à piloter l'imprimante 3D et peut-être de stockage quand j'aurai un peu de temps pour ça. Je l'utilise sans écran, ni clavier ni souris à l'aide de NOMACHINE avec un client sous windows 10.

Pour la résolution, si tu vois une piste dans [SOLVED] Intel 82G33/G31 - can't get other resolution than 1024x768
Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux

J'ai suivi certaines expressions de la procédure mais je me trouve bloqué.
Ce que j'ai fait :
J'ai branché la prise VGA d'un circuit imprimé (détaché d'un écran qui a fini à la poubelle) sur l'ordi afin d'obtenir des informations complètes à l'aide de la commande :

J'ai adapté la commande fournie sur ton lien avec les données de résolution que j'ai relevées ainsi :
xrandr --newmode "1440x900_70.6" 136.75 1440 1536 1688 1936 900 903 909 942 -hsync +vsync
xrandr --addmode VGA1 1440x900_70.6
xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1440x900_70.6L'effet a été immédiat, la résolution de l'écran a changé et la vitesse d'exécution s'est améliorée. Cependant pas à la même vélocité que lorsque je branche physiquement un écran.
J'ai compris après coup en lisant la fin du lien qu'une commande pouvait créer les paramètres de résolution :

J'ai tenté de redémarrer la machine et je suis ravi de voir qu'elle répond à la commande graphique sans soucis (cf le problème précédent)
Malheureusement, à chaque démarrage du système, il est nécessaire de rappeler les mêmes commandes dans le terminal.
Le post des commandes que j'ai exécutées se termine ainsi :
If that method works, then open the Display program and click Apply to save the settings to the monitors.xml file.
Open the File Manager. Hidden files should be visible. Open the .profile file and add the first two xrandr commands at the bottom.
Je ne suis pas super à l'aise sous linux. Peux-tu m'indiquer comment exécuter cette procédure, s'il te plaît ?

Après, s'il y a moyen d'améliorer encore la vélocité du système, je suis preneur.

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste en commande, tu as la Doc xrandr, j'avais stocké des exemples dans l'ancien tutoriel de Pascaltech > Résolutions d'écrans.

Important : Pensez à passer vos sujets en [Résolu] lorsque ceux-ci le sont, au début du titre en cliquant sur Modifier sous le premier message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci. Membre de Linux-Azur

Bonjour,
J'ai passé pas mal de temps aprèès ce dernier post à configurer mon imprimante3d mais rien n'y faisait...
J4ai fini par commettre une erreur avec l'application Disques de UBUNTU MATE, c'est assez différent de GPARTED.
J'ai absolument tout perdu de mes partitions à cause d'une erreur de lecture, je ne suis pas habitué à cette application, je préfère GPARTED...
Au final, ayant perdu au moins 15 à 20 jours sur cette aventure, j'ai fini par me résigner à réinstaler Windows7 où toutes les compatibilités ne me font pas suer...
J4ai vraiment galéré à faire un support bootable mais j'y suis enfin parvenu.
En ce qui me concerne, l'aventure linux touche à sa fin pour au moins cette année, trop de problèmes de paramétrages pour faire des trucs simples.
Merci en tous cas de m'avoir aidé à solutionner ce problème, on en était arrivé à bout.

Pour rajouter [Résolu] au début du titre, en éditant ta discussion, il faut utiliser le bouton Modifier au bas de ton premier message.
Mais ce serait plutôt [Contourné] que Résolu.
