Bonjour,

Ci-dessous les retours de sudo apt update et sudo apt dist-upgrade. On peut y noter l'erreur suivante :

ERROR (dkms apport): binary package for evdi: 1.9.1 not found

Est-ce quelque chose qui peut être ignoré ?

Bonjour , c ' est un probleme avec la compilation d ' un pilote geré par dkms .
montre donc :

dkms status

afin de voir ce que gere DMS .

tu as fiat un upgrade recemment il me semble non ?

as tu remarqué un materiel qui ne fonctionne plus ? genre wifi ou autre dont tu aurais confié la gestion a DKMS ?

on notera aussi que actuellement il semble que ton systeme gere les noyaux HWE pour 20.04 et 22.04 :

Oui, j'ai fait un upgrade récemment et je ne pouvais plus démarrer mon PC après cela. D'où mon message aujourd'hui, je ne voudrais pas que ça recommence.

Je n'ai pas remarqué de matériel qui ne fonctionne plus.

	seamless mode in VirtualBox doesn't work properly. I note that x11 is running. I think it should be wayland since 22.04. I wonder if installing freerdp2-x11 had changed it.
	Uninstall freerdp2-x11 with

	I updated VirtualBox to new version => it broke => back to previous version and Shared Clipboard is working!

alors te sers tu de " evdi " et sais tu ce que c ' est ? c ' est a priori lui qui ne se met pas a jour et le bug ne date pas d' hier ... vu que c ' est depuis le noyau : 5.11.0-46-generic .

Je ne sais pas si je me sers de evdi et je ne sais pas ce que c'est. Je n'ai aucune trace de ce paquet dans mes notes d'installations, ce qui veut dire que je ne l'ai pas installé intentionnellement. D'après cette page web, ça semble gérer les écrans multiples, il est donc possible que ça me soit utile.

J'imagine qu'il ne devrait plus gérer les noyaux pour 20.04 ? Il y a quelque chose à faire ?

ba vu qu il n' est plus compilé par DKMS sur les noyaux apres le 5.11.0-46-generic , je ne pense pas que ca te soit utile .

il me semble qu ' on avait vu un depot avec ce nom lorsqu ' on a corrigé les depots non officiels ( si j' ai bonne memoire ) .
Par contre , je ne me rapelle plus si on l' avait conservé ou pas .

Dans tous les cas , ce qui est sur , c ' est que si tu utilises un noyau superieur au 5.11.0-46-generic , alors il ne peut pas fonctionner ce truc .

si quelqu ' un passe par là et se rappelle ou connait la commande pour visualiser les paquets orphelins et / ou obsolete , je suis preneur pour voir ce qui est en rapport avec evdi et faire un nettoyage .

sudo apt purge evdi

, ne fonctionnera pas , vu que apt policy evdi , ne renvoie rien .

Mais on peut deja commencer par enlever sa gestion de DKMS :

sudo dkms remove evdi/1.9.1 - k --all

la commande est de memoire ... il y a de forte chance que ca ne fonctionne pas , mais j' ai pas vraiment moyen de regarder là .

D'ailleurs, en ayant fait un upgrade puis downgrade de VirtualBox manuellement, il apparaît maintenant comme "local". Faut-il que j'installe virtualbox avec 'sudo apt install virtualbox' et que je supprime virtualbox-6.1 avec 'sudo apt purge virtualbox-6.1' ?

Peux tu montrer tes sources actuelles , histoire de voir si le depot pour ce logiciel est toujours present ou pas :

find /etc/apt -name '*.list' -exec bash -c 'echo -e "\n$1\n"; nl -ba "$1"' _ '{}' \;

ba je ne suis pas certain que tu en ai besoin surtout si tu ne sais pas a quoi ca sert .

Soit tu valides et basta . soit il faut nettoyer tout ce qu ' il a installé .

a connecter un ecran a un ordi en passant par wifi ou USB en gros .
si t ' en as besoin tu valides la mise a jour proposée par @geole .
si t ' en as pas besoin il faut enlever la gestion du DKMS de ce paquet et bien entendu enlever les paquets installés avec ce logiciel .

J'ai fait 'sudo apt install --reinstall evdi-dkms' et 'sudo apt autoremove --purge'. Ça s'est bien passé.

Par contre c'est quoi la commande 'sudo apt purge ~c' ?

evdi sert à la gestion des écrans multiples. https://displaylink.github.io/evdi/ Si tu n'en as pas besoin....

mouai si ca se trouve , les problemes que tu as rencontré lors de la mise a niveau sont directement liés a ce logiciel et au bug que viens de linker geole !

Voilà quand j'ai dû installer ce machin. C'est en installant DisplayLink lorsque je voulais connecter mon PC sur un ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A Dock. Je n'ai plus ce Dock, donc je n'ai sans doute plus besoin de ça.

HDMI et USB , peux tu detailler plus ? la video passe par HDMI et l ' USB donne l' alimentation electrique ?

L'USB c'est pour pouvoir utiliser les ports qui sont sur l'écran, sur lesquels sont branchés mon clavier et ma souris entre autre.

Du coup, je suis censé supprimer evdi-dkms et le driver displaylink-driver-5.4.1-55.174.run ?

Ben ca me semble plus sage de supprimer tout ca vu que , d' une part il ne te sert a rien , et que d ' autre part il bugue avec la serie de noyau que tu utilises .
