Problème dual boot - PC ACER
Bonjour,
Je suis utilisateur d’ubuntu (2 PC) depuis une 10aine d’année : plusieurs installation, qui se sont toujours déroulées sans accroc.
J’ai récemment récupéré un PC portable ACER ASPIRE ES 15 – ES1-533-P9CR, avec windows, et je me lance tout simplement dans l’installation d’Ubuntu, via une clé USB. Je laisse windows, et choisis donc une configuration en dual boot.
Alors que je crois la partie gagnée, je me retrouve bloqué lors de l’installation à l’étape de l’installation de grub2 → Petit tour sur les forums, et je vois que c’est un problème récurrent avec les ACER.
Après des heures de recherches, de pas en avant et en arrière, je suis presque arrivé à mes fins :
-Ubuntu est installé et fonctionnel, en suivant ce tuto : https://askubuntu.com/questions/862946/ … re-es1-533 )
-J’arrive à pouvoir choisir mon système d’exploitation au démarrage (en faisant F12)
MAIS :
-si je ne fais pas F12, c’est toujours windows qui démarre.
-j’ai tenté un « boot -repair » https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair → ça a tout foutu en l’air, freeze au milieu de la réparation (étape concernant grub), et puis suite à redémarrage forcé je me suis retrouvé avec un écran noir grub au démarrage d’ubuntu avec « minimal bash-like line editing is supported... » → j’ai donc réinstallé ubuntu à nouveau.
J’ai donc deux questions :
1) Comment faire pour que ce soit ubuntu qui boot par défaut
2) Comment m’assurer que tout est OK du coté de grub2n et que ça ne va pas planter ultérieurement ? (car ça m’a l’air un peu bricolé de ce coté là).
J’avoue que si je sais me balader dans le bios, et copier des lignes de commandes dans un terminal, je ne comprends pas toujours ce que je fais !

Et si tu changeais ton ordre de démarrage dans le BIOS ! Parce-que c'est pas qu'en plus tu dis toi même que à part ça tout est OK... Sais-tu à quoi correspond ta pression sur F12 au démarrage ?

@Qid : Dans le BIOS je n'ai pas accès à un ordre de démarrage pour les systèmes d'exploitation. j'ai accès à un boot menu qui ordonne entre USB, Disque dur, CD, etc... Appuyer sur F12 au démarrage m'affiche un menu qui me permet de choisir entre 1) Windows et 2) Ubuntu. Mais je ne peux pas changer cet ordre dans le menu.

J’ai récemment récupéré un PC portable ACER ASPIRE ES 15 – ES1-533-P9CR, avec windows, et je me lance tout simplement dans l’installation d’Ubuntu, via une clé USB. Je laisse windows, et choisis donc une configuration en dual boot.

-J’arrive à pouvoir choisir mon système d’exploitation au démarrage (en faisant F12)MAIS :
-si je ne fais pas F12, c’est toujours windows qui démarre.
J’ai donc deux questions :
1) Comment faire pour que ce soit ubuntu qui boot par défaut
2) Comment m’assurer que tout est OK du coté de grub2n et que ça ne va pas planter ultérieurement ? (car ça m’a l’air un peu bricolé de ce coté là).
Je te propose de considérer que c'est une bonne solution. Plus de la moitié des ordinateurs HP bootent avec une technique de ce style.
Tu as donc pris la solution de remplacer le fichier de boot standard.
Tu peux valider ce choix par appui sur la touche F12
Cela ne semble pas si compliqué que cela.
Si tu ne fais rien, c'est windows qui met en route
Si tu avais installé, la technique standard de dual boot ubuntu disponible pour les ordinateurs standards, C'est ubuntu qui mettrait en route, Mais tu devrais appuyer sur une touche pour choisir windows et une autre touche pour valider ton choix.
A mon avis tu serais perdant (deux touches au lieu de une).
En fait, tu as un ordinateur qui boote de préférence avec windows. Il aurait fallu que tu détruises le boot de windows!!!!!
Puis
Bricoler ubuntu pour qu'il te propose un boot avec windows. La procédure est connue: Paragraphe 6 de ce document https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi

Installer refind et aussi bricoler: La procédure est connue: Paragraphe 6.9 de ce document https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind
Pour la seconde question, fais les mises à jour et tu verras à arrivée du nouveau noyau. Il suffira que tu postes dans cette discussion.

dans Boot tu as actuellement deux lignes intéressante : en 4 et en 8
en l’occurrence surtout pour la 4 il n'y aurait pas un "détail" possible ?

@qid ce que je souhaite, c'est que mon ordinateur boot automatiquement sur ubuntu : actuellement, si je l'allume et ne passe pas par F12, c'est windows qui se lance.
Ci dessous les imprim écran du boot menu du bios, mais pas grand chose à en tirer je pense
Dans mon post #7 il y a l'écran qui apparait lorsque je fais F12 au démarrage... et dans celui ci, pas moyen de passer Ubuntu en 1er dans l'ordre de boot !

Ouais mais ça c'est normal : ce n'est qu'un menu de sélection non modifiable à cet endroit... Ce qui l'est moins c'est qu'on ne retrouve rien d'équivalent dans le bios là où justement on devrait pouvoir le changer...
Quand on regarde le boot-info on voit clairement le souci : c'est le "efibootmgr -v" qui n'est pas correcte : il faut pointer en priorité en 0 1 ou 3 mais certainement pas en 2...
