Carte Wifi atheros 5007eg pas reconnue
Bonjour,
je viens de passer sous Ubuntu Hardy (je suis un super noob)
J'ai cherché sur le forum, mais j'ai pas trouvé de réponse à mon problème :
Mon ordi ne se connecte pas en wifi

Bonjour,
Si tu est sur que c'est bien une 5007eg (apparement ca marche pas avec une 5006), fait ce qui suit :
commence par desactiver le pilotes proprio Atheros :
Menu système, Adminstration, Gestionnaire de pilote proprietaires
Decoche la case "utiliser pilote Atheros" (c'est peut etre pas le nom exact, je me souviens plus...)
Puis tu reboot le pc
Apres le reboot, tu copie/colle ces commandes dans une console (connexion internet requise) :
sudo apt-get install build-essential
mkdir ~/$USER/madwifi
cd ~/$USER/madwifi
wget http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/ma … 007.tar.gz
tar xfz madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
cd madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007
sudo make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe ath_pci
Tu reboot une derniere fois, et network manager devrait voir ta carte wifi, de la tu pourra parametre ta connexion....
Reviens pour dire si ca fonctionne...ou pas...
Tombé dans l'informatique étant petit, j'en ai fait mon métier. Utilisateur d'Ubuntu depuis novembre 2006, actuellement sous 20.04 x64 (Que d'évolution
depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

J'ai fait ce que tu as dit... et ça ne marche toujours pas Dans Wicd (que j'ai installé à la place de Network manager) je n'ai rien et si je fais :

J'ai cru lire ça et là qu'il y avait des incompatibilités avec cette carte et le 64 bits (c'est bien une 5007eg), or j'ai comme pross' un athlon X2 64bits, ça peut jouer ?

Ce n'est pas le processeur qui compte mais le système, sur tu as installé Hardy 32bits pas de problèmes, si c'est le 64bits ça ne fonctionnera pas.

Correspond bien à ce que détecte Hardy pour une Atheros 5007eg.
L'installation dans ce cas fonctionne sans problème en suivant le lien donné plus haut.
Ouvrir un terminal.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install build-essential
wget http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
tar xvzf madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007.tar.gz
cd madwifi-nr-r3366+ar5007
make
sudo make install
Redémarrer
Clic gauche sur les 2TV en haut à droite.
Cliquer sur votre wifi et entrer le code wifi.

L'install de madwifi, je l'ai déja fait un certain nombre de fois, et ça ne marche toujours pas, j'obtiens toujours
$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
Et aucun réseau wifi dans Wicd...
J'ai toujours ma carte considérée comme "network UNCLAIMED"...

J'ai le même problème...
sur un Asus X51 LR. Le pire c'est que j'avais déjà fait une installation sur le même modèle y'a 4 mois et sans aucun problème avec Ndiswrapper... Je comprends pas. Impossible de faire détecter cette carte malgré l'installation via mad wifi.
