Problème multiboot
Bonjour,
J'avais windows sur un disque, j'ai voulu installer Ubuntu sur un deuxième disque. J'ai installé mes 3 partitions Ubuntu (/, /home et swap) et maintenant windows n'es plus accessible. Pourtant je peux accéder à mes disque durs windows depuis Linux.
Quelqu'un serait-il pourquoi grub ne me propose plus windows au démarrage?

Il n'y aurais pas un probleme de maitre/esclave ??
Quand tu démare ton PC, le Bios boot sur un des deux disques, il ne voit peu etre pas Windows ...
L'alcool est ton ennemi.

Ben en fait c'es du Serial ATA donc pas d'esclave non? En fait avant j'arrivais à booter sur l'un ou l'autre des disque mais j'avais décider de réinstaller Ubuntu avec un partitionnage manuel et c'es la que windows n'était plus accessible.
En fait quand je boot sur mon disque windows grub me propose Ubuntu Kernel. Est-ce possible que j'ai en quelque sorte installer les fichiers système Ubuntu sur mon disque windows?

Si tu ne t'ai pas tromper dans l'installation de Ubuntu, je ne pense pas qu'il aille mettre des fichier sur ton "disque Windows", surtout que il doit être en NTFS, et que Linux est incapable d'écrir dessus (en théorie seulement je crois), mais bon, je ne suis qu'un débutant, il est fort possible que je me trompe.
Moi pour installer Windows et Ubuntu en dual boot (sur le même disque dur) j'ai suivit une vidéo bien sympatique:

Mais si quand tu boot sur ton disque windows il te propose différente choses (dont XP) c'est que ça fonctionne nan ??
En tout cas, ce que j'aurais fais, c'est installer Windows et Ubuntu sur le même dure, et prendre l'autre en fat 32 pour mettre tous tes documents (flims musiques, installation de jeux...)

Merci pour ces infos. En fait quand je boot sur mon disque contenant windows il me propose de booter Ubuntu. C'es bizarre je crois que lors de l'installation d'Ubuntu il a du toucher au disque dur windows.
Qu'en pense-tu?

A voir ton fichier menu.lst il semble que tu bootes sur sdb. Tu peux tenter de rajouter ceci en fin de menu.lst (après la ligne : ### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST)

map (hd1) (hd0)
root (hd1,0)

Si je peux me permettre j'aurais une dernière question. J'ai une partition /home qui est mon dossier personnel. Est-ce possible d'en faire un volume (un autre disque comme F:/ sur windows)?
Merci à vous tous pour votre aide, je suis nouveau chez Ubuntu et je trouve vraiment cool que mes questions trouvent des réponse rapidement.

En fait c'es jusque que dans windows j'avais l'habitude d'avoir un disque C:/ et un autre F:/ Je voulais créer un autre disque en partant de /home pour que lorsque je vais au poste de travail il soit afficher un volume supplémentaire (home)

Pour accéder au dossier home je doit d'abord entre dans "Système fichiers". Néanmoins /home est bien une partition à part non? Je veux dire que je peu la formater sans toucher aux fichiers système.

Elle est sur /dev/sdb3 et / est sur /dev/sdb1.
Je ne comprend pas très bien ton pb d'affichage d'un dossier /home sur le poste de travail.
Cependant je te déconseille de formater ta partition /dev/sdb3 car tu ne pourrais plus te connecter.
Le principe de mettre /home sur une partition offre au contraire la possiblité de réinstaller son système sans écraser les fichiers perso (contenus dans /home/ton_user) .
