Message d'erreur au démarrage après nouvelle installation

Bonjour,

J'ai depuis peu un nouvel ordinateur (Dell Precision 7530), sur lequel j'ai installé Ubuntu 22.04 Unity sur un disque dur à part pour le faire fonctionner en dual boot avec WIndows.

Tout marche sans problème, mais à chaque démarrage/sortie de veille, j'ai un message qui s'affiche :

A priori cela n'a aucune incidence sur le fonctionnement de l'ordinateur (il démarre quand même et tout fonctionne), mais je me demandais ce qu'était ce message et ce qu'il fallait faire pour le résoudre...

Bonjour,

Il y a bien un port HDMI, mais il est connecté au démarrage (et le moniteur externe fonctionne après le boot).

Le problème est résolu, en désinstallant les drivers nvidia et en utilisant le driver libre nouveau. Je ne sais pas trop pourquoi cela influe sur le GPU intel mais bon. Le principal c'est que ça marche...

Montre, en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande :

et :

pour voir si c'est Wayland ou x11.

Pour purger les résidus de configuration marqués "rc" : 

sudo apt purge ~c

comme expliqué à la machine à café et rajouté dans ce message

As-tu moyen de changer de session avec la roue crantée, pour tester avec wayland ?

Regarde l'EDIT de malbo dans ce message, pour la roue crantée.

Vu :

Pour passer du pilote nouveau, au pilote nvidia-driver-535 conseillé, tente :

sudo apt purge nvidia*
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

Bonjour,
Pas moyen de mettre wayland, je suis sous le parfum officiel Unity, la roue crantée n'apparaît pas.
Comme je l'avais pressenti, le driver propriétaire Nvidia pose problème. Si je l'installe, le message d'erreur apparaît, et même, maintenant, le moniteur externe ne fonctionne plus.
En revanche, avec le driver nouveau, aucun souci.
C'est mon premier test avec Nvidia sous Ubuntu, je savais que ce serait compliqué. Pour l'usage que j'ai, sous Linux, j'ai surtout besoin de puissance de calcul et pas forcément d'un GPU puissant, donc le driver nouveau me va. Pour les usages qui sollicitent le GPU (notamment photogrammétrie), je crois malheureusement que j'aurais plus vite fait de démarrer sous windows...

Je vois pour ce duo de cartes graphiques, dans forums.fedora-fr.org/-brancher-un-ordinateur-sur-la-tv-via-un-cable-hdmi/

En effet, mais dans mon cas, il y a visiblement un paramètre dans le BIOS (que j'ai activé) qui permet de contourner cela.

Bonjour,

Dans l'intervalle j'ai réussi à atteindre un état à peu près stable, mais toutes les tentatives pour tenter d'utiliser la carte graphique Nvidia sont des échecs, notamment pour utiliser la technologie optimus (soit par les drivers propriétaires, soit par le pilote nouveau avec bumblebee). Mainteant j'ai seulement laissé le driver nouveau, mais il n'est pas actif et c'est la partie graphique intel qui est aux commandes. Tout fonctionne, mais avec messages d'erreur.

Par expérience, les sorties de veille des PC équipés de cartes Nvidia sur Ubuntu et ses dérivés causent souvent problème, alors que le reste fonctionne très bien.

Perso je désactive la mise en veille sur mon Asus K53S utilisant le Nvidia-Driver-390 meta package. (excepté si sur batterie). Plus de soucis depuis...

Je reviens sur ce post après un peu de retard. À ce qu'il semble, le message d'erreur est lié au fait que, sur ce modèle d'ordinateur, le port HDMI est branché sur la carte graphique NVIDIA. Il n'est donc pas étonnant que la puce graphique du processeur intel ne parvienne pas à communiquer avec. Même quand la session ubuntu indique que les graphiques sont gérés par Intel, c'est la carte NVIDIA qui est à la manœuvre pour le port HDMI. J'ai fait divers essais, si on désactive complètement la carte NVIDIA, le port HDMI ne fonctionne plus du tout, même sous Windows. En revanche, un branchement HDMI ou VGA via un adaptateur USB-C fonctionne sur le processeur intel.
