[(Non)Résolu] Nvidia et Intel: Démar. possible qu'en mode recovery
Bonjour tout le monde, je viens demander de l'aide suite à une boulette que j'ai fait en installant un script pas adapté à ma config.
Je viens de basculer mon Macbook Pro Mi 2012 sur Ubuntu Mate 20.04. J'ai un souci de déchirement non résolu en activant la synchro verticale et je cherchais donc à basculer sur ma carte Intel pour voir si ça marchait mieux. Je suis tombé sur ce script que j'ai voulu tester: https://github.com/bauca/graphics-switcher
Depuis, plus moyen de démarrer autrement que via le mode recovery sur le noyau 0-37. Si je n'avais pas fait ma feignasse et que j'avais creusé plus loin, j'aurais probablement trouvé une méthode plus adaptée... Bref.
Je me retrouve donc avec un fichier xorg.conf plus du tout à sa place: /usr/share/doc/xserver-xorg-video-intel au lieu de /etc/X11/ comme précisé sur cette page
J'ai essayé de désinstaller puis réinstaller tout ce qui gère la carte Nvidia via synaptic en espérant que ça me remette tout à la bonne place, mais ça n'a rien donné; et pire encore, le gestionnaire de paramètres Nvidia (xserver settings) m'affiche une fenêtre vide. Enfin, si je switche d'une carte à l'autre via la commande "prime-select" le switche s'exécute mais le problème reste le même au démarrage: le logo de mate s'affiche puis écran noir. Impossible d'ouvrir le terminal via ctrl+alt+F4, la seule chose que je peux faire c'est appuyer une fois sur mon bouton de démarrage pour que le système s'éteigne. A noter qu'au moment du basculement d'une carte à l'autre j'ai un message d'erreur: "possible missing firmware (blablabla) module i915"
Donc je cherche une âme charitable qui voudrait bien m'aider à réparer ma c******* ...

mickmackmuck@MickBookProMate:~$J'utilisais effectivement le pilote 390 (puisque recommandé) qui fonctionnait plutôt bien, mis à part ce déchirement persistent. Là je suis revenu au pilote libre, et bien que le déchirement soit toujours d'actualité, je n'ai pas d'autre souci. Pour ce qui est du 340 je ne peux effectivement pas l'installer via le gestionnaire de pilotes. Donc, je l'installe via le lien launchpad, et? ... C'est tout? Je redémarre?

Bon il me fallait pouvoir utiliser mon ordi rapidement, donc j'ai fait une restauration. Je suis pas trop fan mais j'avais pas le choix. Je suis revenu à prime-select, mon ordi tourne sur la carte Intel (suffisant pour ce que j'en fait, même pour un peu d'inkscape et Gimp). Reste plus qu'à trouver le moyen de couper l'alimentation de la nvidia... Merci de t'être penché sur le sujet @xubu1957
