{Résolu] Le bon vieux classique écran noir

Bonjour,
Sous Xubuntu 20.04 depuis peu, j'ai un problème d'écran noir après le montage de la partition (chiffrée avec cryptsetup). Jusqu'à il y a peu, le logo Xubuntu s'affichait et j'accédais à mon profil. J'imagine qu'il y a un souci avec ma carte graphique et/ou le pilote.
J'arrive à accéder à mon profil via le recovery mode mais alors je perd mon deuxième écran

Le but était de voir s'il n'y avait pas une option qui empêche le chargement du pilote "amdgpu". Ce n'est pas le cas.

Que donne donc cette commande ?

dpkg -l xserver-xorg-video*

lsmod | grep amd

As-tu installé ou supprimé des paquets avant que n'apparaisse ce problème ? Si oui lesquels ?
Peux-tu coller le contenu de /var/log/apt/history.log ?

Je suis passé de la version 18.04 à la 20.04 récemment, mais ça a fonctionné sans problème jusqu'à présent
à noter qu'aujourd'hui à la première tentative de connexion, j'ai eu l'écran noir, mais à la deuxième j'ai pu me connecter (et j'ai donc 2 écrans)

Il manque le reste de mes demandes...

Si tu es toujours connecté avec tes deux écrans, peux-tu donner de nouveau le résultat de :

sudo lshw -c display

Donne aussi le résultat de :

dmesg | grep amdgpu
dmesg | grep firmw
dpkg -l linux-firmware

Actuellement, ton PC doit fonctionner normalement. Le pilote amdgpu est chargé et utilisé par la carte graphique. Il s'agit donc d'un problème de reconnaissance matérielle dans certains cas.
D'ailleurs, si tu relances, cette commande on verra que le pilote est bien utilisé par la carte :

lspci -vnn | grep -A 12 '\''[030[02]\]' | grep -Ei "vga|3d|display|kernel"

As-tu fait une manipulation quelconque avant que le pilote soit correctement utilisé ?

[Edit] Si tu retrouves l'écran noir, passe de nouveau cette commande :

dmesg | grep amdgpu

[rEdit] Dans le fichier de configuration de Grub, il y a ceci :

export GRUB_MENU_PICTURE="/Linux_Inside_03.jpg"
export GRUB_COLOR_NORMAL="light-magenta/black"
export GRUB_COLOR_HIGHLIGHT="light-blue/yellow"

Est-ce que le résultat attendu est correct ? Dans tout les cas, il faudrait commenter les 3 lignes commençant par "export". Ensuite, mettre à jour le Grub avec :

sudo update grub

Et redémarrer 3 fois, pour voir si tu ne rencontres plus l'écran noir.

Ce matin je n'ai pu me connecter qu'en passant par le recovery mode. J'ai commenté les 3 lignes "export du fichier de config Grub (C'était des personnalisations effectuées via grub-customizer) et fait un sudo update-grub, redémarré 3 fois (à chaque fois je suis tombé sur l'écran noir et maintenant je suis de nouveau en mode recovery, sans 2° écran.
Pour le pilote:

Je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir fait une manip quelconque. En récap: pas de problème particulier depuis l'installation de la version 18.04, passage récemment à 20.04 qui a bien fonctionné quelques semaines et qui maintenant donne (très souvent) un écran noir

Pas de différence: que je le branche avant ou après le démarrage ne change rien. Je n'ai accès au 2° écran que les rares fois où le démarrage fonctionne correctement. Quand je suis en recovery mode, je n'y ai pas accès (il reste noir)

Petite idée à moi. Le problème arrivant juste après le déchiffrement de la partition (mot de passe puis chargement du système) par crypsetup, n'est-il pas possible qu'il y ait un conflit entre cryptsetup et l'affichage? Je dis ça parce qu'en passant par le mode recovery, la séquence de démarrage est un peu différente: le déchiffrement de la partition se fait sous terminal et ensuite la session utilisateur se monte. Dans un démarrage classique, on a déja un mode graphique (le logo Xubuntu) avant même le déchiffrement de la partition.

Je pense, sans pouvoir l'affirmer, qu'il y a un problème (*ERROR* VGACON disables amdgpu kernel modesetting.)de fonctionnement de amdgpu. Je suis d'ailleurs en train de répondre à quelqu'un d'autre pour un problème semblable au tien (modèle de carte graphique différent), mais même pilote.

Essaye de modifier Grub pour y ajouter cette option amdgpu.exp_hw_support=1.

sudo nano /etc/default/grub

La ligne suivante :

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""

est à modifier comme suit :

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="amdgpu.exp_hw_support=1"

CTRL+O pour enregistrer plus la touche Entrée et CTRL+X pour fermer.
Ceci fait, lance :

sudo update-grub

Ensuite, redémarre.

Après reboot, donne les retours de :

dmesg | grep amdgpu
lspci -vnn | grep -A 12 '\''[030[02]\]' | grep -Ei "vga|3d|display|kernel"

Si cela ne fonctionne pas mieux, essaye avec l'option amdgpu.dc=0. Tu remplaces amdgpu.exp_hw_support=1 par amdgpu.dc=0 en refaisant toute la procédure.

Je viens de faire 3 redémarrages et tout fonctionne normalement. Je vais faire encore quelques essais dans la journée et fermer le sujet si plus de problèmes.

Je viens d'enlever le statut [Résolu] à cette discussion parce que le problème est de retour. Je suis de nouveau connecté en passant par le menu "recovery mode".

Vérifie que l'option de boot amdgpu.exp_hw_support=1 est bien présente. La commande suivante le fera rapidement :

dmesg | grep amdgpu.exp_hw_support=1

Si c'est OK, tu peux tester en ajoutant l'option suivante :

amdgpu.dc=0

Si ce n'es pas mieux, essaye avec uniquement la 2ème option.

Peux-tu m'expliquer ce qui t'a incité à ajouter nomodeset dans les options de boot ? De même pour l'option dis_ucode_ldr ?

Deux preuves que tu sais ajouter des options dans Grub.

S'il s'agit de Grub, c'est peut-être un paramétrage que j'avais modifié dans Gub-customizer.
et quand tu me dis d'ajouter l'option
