Ethernet filaire via adaptateur USB3

Mon portable idéapd 100S n'ayant pas de port Ethernet, et seulement des USB, j'ai acheté un adaptateur Ethernet via USB3. L'adaptateur est reconnu dans la liste lorsque je fait un lsusb
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0bda:8153 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Mais je n'arrive pas à l'utiliser
que faut il faire ?

Il y a cette page dans la Doc > ethernet_usb3_realtek_rtl8153, mais le lien vers le site du fabricant Realtek donne un retour 404.

Merci, C'est ce que j'avais trouvé, on arrive avec un peu de mal à récupérer cela : Ethernet LINUX driver r8152 for kernel up to 4.15
J'ai donc refait la procédure décrite, ce que j'avais fais la semaine dernière, mais toujours rien.
Dans le reademe du driver il parle de supporter S5 WOL, de quoi s'agit il ?

Oui le readme c'est bien celui-ci
Sur l'autre lien proposé , il y a aussi un lien vers fil de Débian facile
mais les deux sont de fils de 2017 et le driver trouvé chez Realtek est de 12/2018
je m'y recollerais demain...
Sur le moniteur systeme, on voit un peu de débit sortant 120Kio et seulement  9Kio rentrant en 3-4 minutes

Le retour est :
modprobe: FATAL: Module r8153 not found in directory /lib/modules/4.4.0.145-generic
et si je fais : sudo modprobe r8152 il n'y à pas de message de retour
Dans le répertoire je trouve un fichier r8152.ko mais pas de r8153. Les autres fichiers sont : r8188eu.ko, r8192u_usb.ko, r8169.ko et r8192e_pci.ko
Dans le zip de départ r8152.53.56-2.11.0.tar.zip il n'y à pas de fichier r8153 !

PS j'utilise mon PC fixe pour te répondre

Salut,

Si ta Box permet un branchement USB, essaye de brancher un câble USB entre ton PC et ta Box. Sur les Freebox V5, cela fonctionne.

a @inbox : la box à des ports USB, mais c'est une bbox ancien modèle (2012) et trop loin (2 étages). La maison est câblée pour avoir accès au réseau un peu partout. Je pourrais aller faire un essai mais je n'ai pas de câble USB mâle-mâle. Et si ca marche cela me prouvera quoi ?

Te connecter en USB te permettrai de mettre ton système à jour et d'installer des paquets utiles pour faire fonctionner ton adaptateur USB3.

@inbox : Ok mais je pense etre à jour et avoir récupérer le seul driver dispo chez realtek. En me déplaçant je peux attraper de la wifi si besoin. Quels autres paquets chercher ?

Après avoir tenté la proposition de @lamawalrus, le graphique de l'historique réseau à changer un moment en envoyant a peine plus de données (où ?) mais aucune données entrantes, puis il est revenu au graph régulier de quelques malheureux octet envoyés  ou essayé d'envoyé !

Pour ce qui est de rajouter une règle udev, je ne vois pas bien ce qu'il faut faire. L'anglais n'y aide pas.

Oui il faut le créer, et rajouter les deux lignes dedans.

Me revoilà, je n'ai pas pu m'en occuper avant.
Donc j'ai copié les 2 lignes dans un éditeur et enregistrer sous le nom 50-cpu-custum.rules dans le répertoire etc/udev/rules.d
J'ai redémarré
Et... rien de mieux !
