clé USB bootable / DELL optiplex 990 (wds7)
Bonjour à tous,
une école en Suisse nous à donner (pour notre projet…) 7 ordinateurs PC, DELL optiplex 990 (intel inside, core i5, windows 7, BIOS révision A11 ou A18) sans licence windows (nous n'en n'aurions pas voulu de tte façon
J'ai créée une clé USB bootable (sur mon mac avec Unetbootin / USB 2 en FAT32 car je n'avais que ça …) de la version Ubuntu 18,04 LTS. (coché "Diskimage" Iso
Puis j'ai démarré un ordi avec F2, et sur General / Boot Séquence, j'ai coché seulement "USB Storage Device" (laissé "Legacy" coché) puis appliqué (Apply et Exit) pour redémarrer sur la clé bootable.
Ensuite, la version test est arrivée très rapidement, avec l'icône "instal Ubuntu" que j'ai bien sur lancé (installation avec succès) le tout branché par filaire sur internet. (même après l'installation, l'icône "Install Ubuntu" est toujours la, est-ce normal?)
LE PROBLÉME arrive ensuite, car je ne peux pas enlever la clé USB, le système est comme bizarrement disparu…(message F1 to retry boot, F2 to setup & F5 tu run diagnostic…) si je remet la clé USB, tout fonctionne (tableau bleu menu Unetbootin au lancement…)
Que dois-je faire pour que l'installation fonctionne (sans clé…)? Ai-je fais une mauvaise manip ou bien oublié quelque chose?

Le buntu semble etre correctement installé en mode legacy et le reste s'y prete par ailleurs.
À voir dans le bios si le DD boot bien en legacy aussi (si à l'origine c'était w7, il devrait mais y a p'tete eu une bete manip dans le bios).
Si c'est ok, reste la réparation recommandée en fin du rapport boot-info.

Si tu presses la touche F12 au démarrage de l'ordi, tu dois faire apparaitre le Boot-Menu (c'est ce qui est indiqué dans le manuel de ton modèle)
Dans ce Boot Menu, tu devrais pouvoir sélectionner ton disque dur (il pourrait apparaitre sous la désignation "WD2500AAKX-7")

Merci Lucmars et Merci Malbo pour votre aide car je n'y connais vraiment rien en pc windows et je commence juste à m'intéresser à Linux, alors encore merci!
Ubuntu fonctionne effectivement si je redémarre avec F12 et sélectionne "WD…" puis tape "enter"
mais si j'allume l'ordi sans F12, ça reste toujours bloqué à ce message "F1 to retry boot, F2 to setup & F5 to run diagnostic…" (idem pour 3 autres ordi / 7)
>>> Comment faire en sorte qu'il suffise d'allumer l'ordi et que Ubuntu se lance directement ? (je précise que ces ordi seront à dispo pour toutes personnes (confirmé ou novice…), je ne peux donc pas laisser un message : "press F12 au démarrage…" donc il y a surement une bête manip dans le Bios comme dit Lucmars plus haut?

Salut,
dans le premier poste tu dit avoir coché seulement le boot sur clé dans le bios, donc la machine cherche seulement a booter sur une clé et pas sur le disque interne.
Il faut retourner dans le bios (f2 general/boot sequence) et cocher pour que la machine boot sur le disque au démarrage avec le nouveau systéme installé.
La il ne cherche méme pas a booter dessus.
