[Résolu] Problème ouverture fichiers pdf sous Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Bonjour,

Lorsque j'essaye d'ouvrir un .pdf, le logiciel utilisé plante, que ce soit le Visionneur de documents, Atril ou xpdf.

Lorsque je fais un clic droit sur le fichier, le dossier se ferme.

À noter que cela ne le fait pas avec tous les fichiers. Certains s'ouvrent, d'autres pas.

Redémarrer le PC n'y change rien.

Que faire ?

Salut,

Lance ton lecteur de PDF dans un terminal et essaye d'ouvrir :
1/ un PDF fonctionnel et donne les retours complets
2/ un PDF qui fait planter et donne les retours complets

[Edit] Question complémentaire : Un PDF que tu peux ouvrir, fonctionne-t-il à chaque fois correctement ?

Aucun retour ne s'affiche dans le terminal lorsque le document s'ouvre. Un même document s'ouvre à chaque fois correctement.

Pour un document qui ne s'ouvre pas (à chaque fois) :

même chose avec atril

[Edit] le clic droit fonctionne correctement, c'est quand je clic ensuite sur propriétés que le dossier se ferme.

Aurais-tu installé un thème graphique que tu aurais téléchargé ? En gros, utilises-tu un thème qui n'est pas d'origine ?

Les curseurs n'étaient pas d'origine.

J'ai changé pour :

Thèmes
Applications : Ambiance
Curseurs : DMZ-Black
Icônes : Ubuntu-mono-dark

J'ai ensuite redémarré et relancé les opérations dans un terminal .

Pour les pdf qui s'ouvrent :

Les fichiers qui te font le défaut, viennes-t-ils tous de la même source ?
Ces fichiers s'ouvrent-t-il correctement sur une autre machine Linux ?
Ces fichiers s'ouvrent-t-il correctement sur une autre machine Windows ?
As-tu un de ces documents qui n'est ni confidentiel, et qui ne comporte aucune données personnelles ou sensibles que tu pourrais nous partager pour des tests ?

Dans ceux qui ne s'ouvrent pas, certains sont-ils publics ? Dis autrement, puis-je avoir un lien pour en télécharger et que tu n'arrives pas à ouvrir ?

Les fichiers proviennent de diverses sources et s'ouvraient tous correctement avant la mise à niveau vers 18.04LTS.
Il n'y a pas de windows à la maison.

J'ai affiché ton PDF, sans problème avec Evince.

Il faut donc envisager, soit un problème matériel (RAM ou disque dur), soit un problème système.

Pour tester la RAM, il faut démarrer en appuyant sur la touche Shift. La tu pourras choisir la 1ère ligne Memtest. Si des lignes avec du rouges apparaissent, ta mémoire est défectueuse.

Pour vérifier le disque dur, installe smarmontools. Ensuite, lance le test avec :

sudo smartctl -s on -a /dev/sdX

Remplacer le X de sdX par la lettre correspondant à ton disque dur.

On verra pour la suite, en fonction de ces résultats.

Le disque a 313 jours complets d'utilisation. Il n'est donc plus tout jeune. Il doit commencer se faire vieux.

Je pense qu'il faudrait lancer un test sur ton disque. Lance donc :

Puis :

sudo smartctl -l selftest /dev/sda

Et donne m'en les retours.

Chez moi document pdf aussi ouvrable avec Evince.
Ton fichier a été créé sous crocrotte.
Producteur : Acrobat Distiller 6.0.1 (Windows)

Je réfléchis et reviens dès que possible.

Le test est passé sans problème.

Pour vérifier si cela peut être un problème de disque dur, il faudrait que tu enregistres le fichier dont tu m'as donné le lien sur une clef ou un disque USB. Ensuite, tu essaye de l'ouvrir depuis cet emplacement. Tu dis si le lecteur PDF plante ou si le PDF s'ouvre normalement.

Donne aussi le retour de :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls -la /etc/apt/sources.list.d

Tu télécharges cette image iso et tu crées une clef USB bootable comme indiqué dans la documentation préalablement citée.

J'ai démarré avec une clé live usb, choisi essayer ubuntu, mais je n'ai plus accès à mes dossiers, j'ai du louper quelque-chose...

J'ai téléchargé le fichier via le lien laissé quelques post plus haut ainsi qu'un autre fichier que je ne parvenais plus à ouvrir.
Le premier fichier s'ouvre correctement et rien ne s'affiche dans le terminal.
Par contre le second à planté la première fois :
