[RESOLU] Dépot Universe coché et pourtant il ne fonctionne pas

Bonjour,
j'ai un problème, j'ai le dépot Universe qui est coché dans Synaptic. Normalement il devrait être fonctionnel, mais voilà que quand j'essaie d'installer un logiciel de ce dépot j'ai comme retour:

Veuillez activer le dépot universe

Auriez-vous déjà eu ce problème?

Merci par avance pour votre aide.

C'est une installation toute fraiche d'ubuntu 16.04 mate, le dépot a marché il y a quelques minutes, mais ne marche plus.
J'ai redémarré.

Ça a l'air à peu près ok pour le sources.list mais il y a plusieurs dépôts (désactivés) en double et tu es sur un miroir bizarre. On va le remettre au propre avec les dépôts français : c'est possible que les dépôts que tu utilises aient un problème temporaire, ce sera plus stable avec les dépôts fr.

Ouvre-le en admin :

sudo pluma /etc/apt/sources.list

et remplace tout son contenu par ça puis enregistre :

Une fois que c'est fait, recharge la liste des sources et fais les màj éventuelles :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Après ça, essaie à nouveau d'installer ton logiciel.

Un détail qui n'a rien à voir avec le problème mais je prends les devants : ce serait une meilleure idée de garder la version des dépôts de VLC et de ne pas utiliser le dépôts VideoLAN. Il y a un conflit entre les paquets de VLC et Mesa (le pilote graphique libre) depuis quelques mois. En 16.04 d'origine, tu n'es pas concerné mais tu le seras si tu mets à jour le noyau (en passant sur le Hardware Enablement Stack), Mesa ou peut-être le jour où tu passeras à la version 18.04.
Bref : ça ne pose pas de problème d'utiliser ce dépôt en l'état mais à moins que tu aies vraiment besoin de mettre à jour VLC, je te conseille de repasser à la version des dépôts pour éviter tout problème.

Super ça remarche,
pour le serveur bizarre, j'ai juste fait: "choisir le meilleur serveur"

c'est à ce moment là que universe ne marchait plus d'ailleurs.

Pour VLC merci, je l'ai installé par la logitheque de Mate, j'aurais du l'installer en ligne de commande.

En tout cas merci beaucoup, ça refonctionne parfaitement.

Pour VLC merci, je l'ai installé par la logitheque de Mate, j'aurais du l'installer en ligne de commande.

Tu as un dépôt dédié pour VLC, tu l'as forcément ajouté manuellement, il ne vient de pas de chez MATE. La procédure d'installation importe peu, c'est l'origine.
