Probleme avec ubuntu sous xgl et sous gnome

bonjour a tous,

Je découvre à peine linux et ubuntu edgy. J'ai donc installé ubuntu et j'ai installé beryl en suivant le tuto 'il y a sur ce site.
Maintenant j'ai deux problemes. le premier : sous gnome lorsque je tape "beryl" en commande il me dit
Detected xserver                                : NVIDIA

Checking Display :0.0 ...

Checking for XComposite extension               : failed

No composite extension.

Et puis quand je suis sous xgl il faut que je tape beryl-xgl --se-copy en commande pour que beryl fonctionne ( sinon écran tout blanc) Mais même lorsqu'il se lance je n'ai pas de bureau 3d, c'est-à-dire que je peux me balader dans les 4 différents bureaux mais je n'ai pas l'interface du cube.

Et si tu postais ton /etc/X11/xorg.conf ?

Maintenant beryl fonctionne aussi sous gnome je ne sais pas comment j'ai fait tongue Mais j'ai le même problème le cube n'apparait pas et dans la console il me met ceci à la fin lorsque je tape beryl :

Donc ça à l'air tout bon. Le probleme c'est que je n'arrive pas à obtenir le cube 3D : les bureaux défilent mais en 2D

si ce n'est que ca, c'est juste une affaire de désactiver les plugin qui fait le bureau plan et de reactiver les plugins "cube" et "rotate"

ya plus simple faite:
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

et dans la section device en dessous de nvidia rajouter
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

Merci mais j'ai deja mis cette line dans le fichier .
Je comprends pas parceque tout marche mais je n'ai pas de cube, seulement un défilement de facon plane ( le zoom marche lorsque je change de bureaux etc...)

Euh... Tu ne vois jamais le cube quand tu n'es pas en train de changer de bureau, sauf si tu le rends transparent...

Clarifions : tu vois le cube quand ?

Tu as charché dans les options de "bureau en cube" avant de demander ?

Oui oui j'ai tout cherché j'ai activé tout ce qu'il me semblait utile.
Je ne vois jamais le  cube en 3D lorsque je fait ctrl alt droite ( ou gauche) les bureaux défilent mais à l'horizontal de manière plane ( je ne sais pas si c'est clair)

pour avoir le cube il faut activer des option précise je l'ai déjà fait mais avec la nouvelle version ces options ne sont apparemment plus disponible!!

pour avoir le cube il suffit d'activer les plugins "cube" et "rotation" je garantis que c'est toujours disponible dans toutes les versions ^^

Bonjour. c'est bon tout fonctionne j'ai reformaté mon disque dur et réinstallé ubuntu, les drivers, beryl etc....
Maintenant tout foncionne tongue. voila merci à tous

Ceci dit j'ai exactement le même soucis, pas de cube disponible alors que Béryl et ses autres options fonctionnent...

(mais j'ai aussi un écran blanc figé quand je tape juste béryl en console...)

Pour info je suis sous DAPPER.

Ca tient la route non ?

Et une chose encore, quand je lance une session Gnome, il reboot en chaine au menu de session, il refuse de me lancer une session autre que XGL...

Mais j'ai aussi installé aiGlx...

Je commence sérieusement à y perdre mon latin sad

Ubuntu Edgy + Béryl ! Je suis trop content, mais il me manque encore Kiba Dock ! :(
