Solution Matrox/Edgy

Bonsoir,

Pour les possesseurs de carte graphique Matrox G400 Il existe une solution afin de récupérer la résolution voulue ainsi que l'utilisation du driver mga.

En ce qui me concerne, j'ai vu sur launchpad.net/distros/debian qu'il fallait télécharger ce .deb http://www.ime.usp.br/~pjssilva/xserver … 1_i386.deb
et l'installer avec dpkg -i

Il s'agit d'un nouveau driver mga récemment compilé.
(Il est possible que votre .deb actuel fasse néanmoins l'affaire).

Ensuite, il vous suffira de modifier votre xorg.conf en vous inspirant du mien (sections

Petite rectification,   je pense (je ne suis pas sûr) que les possesseurs de n'importe quelle matrox sont concernés.

Merci beaucoup gonzolero ! J'ai aussi une carte Matrox (G100) sur le vieux PC que j'utilise, et grâce au paquet .deb tout va pour le mieux .

Bonjour, ayant le même problème sur 6.10, j'ai installé le paquet
mais pas d'amélioration :-(

Je suis débutant et j'ai donc peut-être oublié quelque chose....

J'ai installé le paquet en l'exécutant avec l'application par défaut
qui n'est pas synoptic.
