Gnome-Shell très lent au démarrage.
Bonjour,
je suis sur Ubuntu 20.04.02, tout marche très bien, sauf que mon Gnome-Shell met un temps fou à se lancer.
Jusqu'à LightGdm tout va bien, je me loggue parfaitement, puis mon bureau met presque 45 secondes pour être utilisable.
TOut marche bien mais c'est très long.
Du coup j'ai fait quelques recherches, je suis tombé sur ce post:

J'y vois une erreur mais dois-je la rectifier et comment?

Quelle erreur ? Et pourquoi dire "j'y vois une erreur" sans la pointer du doigt ? (perso ça me semble bien).
Et je ne toucherai pas à cette ligne sans savoir précisemment ce que tu fais. C'est la ligne de ton "/", une erreur là-dedans et tu ne pourras plus booter correctement...

L'erreur que je vois c'est "errors=remount-ro"
Oui j'ai compris que si je faisais une erreur de mon coté il n'y aurait plus rien.

Non mais c'est pas parce que tu lis le mot "error" que c'est une erreur. Surtout qu'on parle d'un fichier texte de configuration majeur de ton installation. Celui qui définit qui est monté où et comment.
En l'occurence, ici ça veut dire "si jamais tu rencontres des erreurs lors du montage de la partition, monte-la en lecture seule (ro=read only)".
N'hésite pas à faire des recherches si il y a un truc que tu ne sais pas/comprends pas. À peu près toutes les questions ont déjà été posées sur stackoverflow ou askubuntu, ou ici-même. Et puis il y a toujours :
man fstab
EDIT: ok j'pense que t'as vu l'erreur dans le rapport boot info et pas dans /etc/fstab dont tu ne connais pas l'existence probablement.
Sinon pour ton problème, que donne :
sudo systemd-analyze critical-chain
?

Je te laisse lire la Doc : depots#proposed
Proposed
Les dépôts "proposed" contiennent des paquets proposés à fins de tests seulement ! Ils servent à tester des paquets ou des mises à jour avant qu'ils n'intègrent définitivement les dépôts principaux. Ils peuvent donc être à l'origine de plantage et de corruption de système ! N'ajoutez ces dépôts que si vous savez ce que vous faites !
Ces dépôts correspondent à la case à cocher "Mises à jour en préversion (proposed)" → onglet "Mises à jour" de l'application Logiciels & Mises à jour.

Je n'avais pas vu le message de Nany désolé.
Alors pendant un moment il y a eu un problème avec le noyau 5.8, et j'ai du installer ce dépot. Sauf que maintenant ce n'est plus coché dans mon gestionnaire.
J'ai quand même essayé de faire la démarche proposée ici: https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/depots#proposed
Cela n'a rien changé.

En cherchant un peu, la version du bon noyau c'est 5.4.73?
Je peux donc effacer les 5.8 à partir de synaptic?

dans laquelle tu notais déjà : "Tout fonctionne, sauf qu'au démarrage, une fois avoir rentré mon mot de passe dans GDM3, il me faut 45 secondes pour que mon bureau soit opérationnel."
J'en déduis que tu traines ce problème de lenteur depuis 6 mois ou plus. C'est exact ?

Malbo, oui je traine ce problème depuis un moment (j'avais oublié que j'avais déjà fait un post sur ce problème). D'habitude, je change de bureau en passant à XFCE, mais j'apprécie beaucoup Gnome-Shell alors je reviens toujours dessus pour voir.

Re : Gnome-Shell très lent au démarrage.
J’ignore si c’est bien la cause de ton problème mais tu as une multitude d’erreurs AER. On va commencer par corriger cela.
Donne les retours de :
