Pas d'accélération 3D sur un d620 (EDGY)

Bonjour à tou(te)s, je poste pour la première fois sur le forum et j'ai eu beau chercher je ne trouve pas de moyen de solutionner mon problème, qui est le suivant:

Config: Je travaille avec un dell latitude d620 + intel 945GMA +512 Mo Ram, le tout tournant sous Edgy.

Problème:

J'ai installé Beryl-xgl. J'ai 915Resolution tout à fait fonctionnel mais, je n'ai pas d'accélération 3D et des résultats très très lamentables sous glxgears (134.532 FPS !!! sans Beryl et environ le double avec, ce qui n'en reste pas moins pitoyable...).
glxinfo m'affiche toujours "direct rendering: no". Ce qui est normal avec Beryl/Compiz (il me semble) mais pas sous une session Gnome normale.
J'ai pu obtenir il y a quelques jours environ 640 fps... (j'avais commenté la ligne load "dri", mais depuis cela ne change plus rien... J'ai essayé les drivers "intel" et "i810" sans espoir...
