Ca n'a pas fonctionné car ton sudo aptitude update a échoué.
C'est étrange... Tu n'aurais pas eu de coupure Internet quelques secondes ?
Essaie de nouveau pour voir.
sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install install-mbrSurtout tu as fais une erreur dans la commande

Bizarre le update qui cherche edgy ??? bref, comme l'indique obibann pas de retour sur le sudo install-mbr car tu t'es trompé sur l'installation du paquet en question (cf message obibann).
Par contre, pour plus de lisibilité si tu pouvais utiliser les balises code stp: chaque code collés ici doit débuter par [c0de] et finir par [/c0de]. Plus d'info dans le lien de ma signature.
edit: multiverse n'est pas un paquet mais fais partie des depots de paquet.
edit2: il doit squizer l'installe car ton update foire. Fais directement sudo aptitude install install-mbr pour voir.

Je n'ai rien dis: le paquet install-mbr n'existe pas, il s'agit bien du paquet mbr. Essai simplement sudo aptitude install mbr sans faire le aptitude update.

Si retour au prompt c'est que ça à dû bien se passer.
Je dirais que tu doit pouvoir faire ton partitionnement avec Gparted puis lancer l'install, passer en mode avancé au moment du paritionnement, indiquer alors les points de montage et finaliser l'installation (comme indiqué sur le site breizh-ardente). Ou alors lancer l'install en auto qui ne te fera que 2 partitions, tout dépend ce que tu souhaites.
Perso je tenterais un partitionnement avant l'install.
Tu peux aussi attendre Nasman

Il ne reste plus qu'à voir si gparted veut bien faire de belles partitions
10 gio en ext4 pour le système (/)
taille de ta ram en Linux-swap
le reste en ext4 pour tes données (le /home)
Puis installation manuelle en affectant les partitions avec les bons systèmes de fichiers et les points de montage
PC fixe sous Bionic 64 bits et portable avec Focal 64 bits

- supprimes sda1, sda5 et sda2
Il faut appliquer les changements (peut être après chaque opération)
puis
- créer une partition en ext4 dans l'espace libéré
- réduire cette partition par la droite pour l'amener à 10-15 Gio
- dans l'espace restant, créer la swap et la réduire à la taille de ta ram (quelque chose vers 1 Gio)
- terminer avec une grande partition en ext4
PC fixe sous Bionic 64 bits et portable avec Focal 64 bits

c'est bien ça sauf que
mémoir vive: 1.5Gb
j'aurais mis un poil plus pour la swap (si tu veux utiliser la mise en veille sinon laisse comme ça).
