Pleins de paquets cassés et des freezes réguliers !
Salut, je viens d'installer une Dapper Flight 3 car mon matériel est assez récent et le controleur SATA nécessitait un noyau >= 2.6.13.
L'install s'est bien déroulé, j'ai mis à jour les paquets... je ne sais pas ce qu'il s'est passé exactement mais actuellement le système plante très vite (parfois quelques secondes) lorsque je lance KDE, il plante beaucoup moins quand je lance fluxbox mais ça arrive aussi. Ces plantages sont des freezes où l'écran est figé, et ils m'obligent à redémarrer le PC car les combinaisons de touches ctrl-alt+[F1|sup|back] restent sans conséquence.
De plus j'ai un problème avec les locales que je n'arrive pas à résoudre, et puis je suis dans l'incapacité d'installer de très nombreux paquets dont firefox, synaptic, libqt4-dev, nvidia-glx...
J'essaie alors d'installer les drivers nvidia à partir des fichiers fournis sur leur site. Je lance le script avec "sh NFORCE..." (pour carte mere) ou "sh NVIDIA..." (pour carte graphique), et au moment de compiler l'interface noyau il me sort :
"unable to find kernel source path"
Alors je lance avec l'argument "--kernel-source-path /usr/src/linux-src..." et cette fois il veut encore autre chose :
Unable to find the kernel output tree for the currently running kernel.
If you know the correct kernel output path, you may specify it with the
'--kernel-output-path' commandline option.
Et je ne sais plus quoi faire...

Merci... si j'ai bien compris quand on teste un flight CD il faut se contenter de ce qui est sur le CD et éviter d'installer quoi que ce soit à partir d'un sources.list mis à jour car on risque de tout casser ? C'est ça ? Ahah, je me suis fait avoir

Dans ce cas là que fais-tu sous Dapper ?!
Si breezy ne peux s'installer pour un soucis de noyau, bah, reviens dans 2 mois
Par contre si elle veut bien, tu dois pouvoir passer au noyau au dessus avec un peu de courage.

Je suis sous Dapper et avec un peu d'attention, une mise à jour par jour.
Je n'ai pas eu de gros problèmes pour l'instant (Juste un retour arrière avec xorg avant que la version 7.0 se stabilise)
C'est surtout le plaisir de pouvoir utiliser les dernières versions de Firefox, Thunderbird, OO2 avec des packages.
Cela dépend bien sur de l'usage.
