Est-ce que malgré le message d'erreur de la dernière commande ça t'a affiché l'écran avec le choix entre GDM et LightDM ?

Ensuite, on va s'occuper de supprimer les restes d'Unity. Donne le retour de :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list
apt list | grep "installé, local"

Bon a priori ca fonctionne et cane plante plus
je n'ai tjs pas les icones sur mon bureau mais ce n'est pas très grave, c'est dépouillé et pas plus mal

c'est quoi wayland

@abelthorne  je suppose que tu n'as plus besoin de la capture d'écran ,  je suis avec l'environnement "gnome"

Ah, va y avoir un peu de boulot. D'abord, édite ton sources.list :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Supprime tout son contenu (tu peux effacer des lignes entières avec ctrl + K) et colle le suivant à la place :

Enregistre avec ctrl + O, valide le nom de fichier avec entrée, ferme Nano avec ctrl + X.

Ensuite, on va faire un peu de nettoyage :

cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d
sudo rm *.save *.distUpgrade

Tu as plusieurs PPA qui sont désactivés (la mise à niveau les désactive automatiquement) :
- bisnext : abandonné, plus utilisable en 20.04 ;
- Google Chrome : tu l'utilises encore ?
- jDownloader : abandonné, plus utilisable en 20.04 ; il est éventuellement possible d'installer jDownloader en flatpak ;
- michael-gruz : pilotes Canon, le dépôt est abandonné depuis longtemps et remplacé par le suivant ;
- thierry-f : fork du précédent.

Donc, est-ce que tu as encore besoin de Google Chrome, jDownloader et les pilotes Canon ?

Voilà j'ai enregistré les distributions que tu m'as proposées
j'utilise pas google chrome en revanche j'utilise jDownloader ( a priori sa mise à jour vient de fonctionner, je l'ai ouvert pour essai et il s'est mis à jour)
que veut dire en flatpak  ?
je n'ai pas besoin des pilote canon
( a part pour mon imprimante)

jDownloader s'installe en fait en local dans ton dossier perso et se met à jour depuis là. Le paquet installé sert juste à initialiser cette version locale.
Flatpak, c'est un format de paquet indépendants des dépôts "traditionnels", c'est similaire aux snaps.

Si tu n'utilises pas Google Chrome, on va donc supprimer ça :

cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d
sudo rm cematinla-ubuntu-bisnext-xenial.list google-chrome.list jd-team-ubuntu-jdownloader-xenial.list michael-gruz-ubuntu-canon-stable-xenial.list

Édite le fichier à garder (pour les pilotes Canon) :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/thierry-f-ubuntu-fork-michael-gruz-bionic.list

Corrige-le comme suit (le dièse à supprimer au début de la première ligne et les commentaires inutiles à la fin des deux lignes) :

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/thierry-f/fork-michael-gruz/ubuntu focal main
# deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/thierry-f/fork-michael-gruz/ubuntu focal main

Enregistre comme précédemment : ctrl + O, valide le nom avec entrée, ctrl + X.

Recharge ensuite la liste des dépôts :

sudo apt-get update

et redonne-moi à nouveau ça :

apt list | grep "installé, local"

c'est ok pour le # , visiblement il n'y avait que 2 lignes et aucun commentaire en bout de ces lignes

Oui, je confirme pour la commande en #33. Ça n'efface pas jDownloader, ça supprime son dépôt obsolète qui n'est plus utilisable en 20.04. Et idéalement, il faudrait supprimer jDownloader en deb pour le réinstaller en flatpak mais c'est juste un conseil : en l'état, ce n'est pas gênant de le garder en deb mais c'est possible qu'il ait des dépendances qui finiront par être obsolètes et poser problème dans une future version d'Ubuntu.

Redonne-moi aussi le retour de :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/thierry-f-ubuntu-fork-michael-gruz-bionic.list

Je ne sais pas ce que tu as fait comme manip mais tu te retrouves avec des balises "gras" au milieu de la liste. La bonne commande est la suivante :

cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d
sudo rm cematinla-ubuntu-bisnext-xenial.list google-chrome.list jd-team-ubuntu-jdownloader-xenial.list michael-gruz-ubuntu-canon-stable-xenial.list

Et pour le fichier thierry-f-ubuntu-fork-michael-gruz-bionic.list, il reste bien les commentaires " # désactivé pour la mise à niveau vers focal" à la fin des deux lignes. Ce n'est pas indispensable de les supprimer, c'est surtout une question de lisibilité.

Tu as dû taper la commande deux fois, c'est pour ça qu'il te dit qu'ils n'existent pas. Dans tous les cas, recharge la liste des dépôts :

sudo apt-get update

Pour la suite :

apt-cache policy cnijfilter-mg2500 gcc-6-base vdpau-va-driver

A priori, on devrait pouvoir supprimer ça. On va faire une simu :

sudo apt-get remove -s --purge cnijfilter-mg2500 gcc-6-base vdpau-va-driver

Donne aussi le retour de :

dpkg -l | grep unity
uname -a
dpkg -l | grep linux-

juste une question;
Avant pour faire un don à l'asso il y avait un lien, le seul moyen que je vois aujourd'hui c'est l'achat sur la boutique , ??

Tu peux supprimer le noyau 4.15 :

sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-image-4.15.0-142-generic linux-modules-4.15.0-142-generic linux-modules-extra-4.15.0-142-generic

Pour Unity, on va commencer par voir ce que ça donnerait en supprimant ça :

sudo apt-get remove -s --purge unity unity-control-center unity-greeter unity-schemas unity-scope-home unity-scopes-master-default unity-services unity-session unity-settings-daemon unity-settings-daemon-schemas
