probleme affichage après installation

Bonjour,
après une mise à jour sur mon ordi l'affichage ne se fait plus, à savoir comme déjà lu ici écran noir avec tiret clignotant en haut à gauche. je n'arrive à l'allumer que en discovery mode avec le grub.

Tu as oublié le lien du boot-info
Comme tu peux booter en mode recovery, il faudrait que tu regardes du coté des pilotes propriétaires https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/gestionnaire_ … prietaires

Peux-tu booter en mode recovery et choisir le noyant précédant https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/recovery_mode


Donc version   4.15.0-129-generic    et pas version 4.15.0-130-generic

Il n'y avait pas spécialement besoin de faire un nouveau boot-info  mais  simplement de dire si tu pouvais de nouveau te connecter
Au vu de cela, je pense que oui.

et tu rebootes normalement.  Si même  problème, tu rebootes en mode recovery  en choisissant le nouveau noyau.
Si même problème, tu rebootes en choisissant le mode  normal de l'ancien noyau.
Si même problème , de nouveau l'ancien noyau en mode recovery qui fonctionne.

Re, Merci pour le coup de main. j'ai mis à jour et fait les différentes manip, malheureusement j'ai toujours le même problème à savoir écran vierge couleur mauve ubuntu. en fait je n'arrive à ouvrir qu'en mode recovery et en ouvrant à partir du grub dans les choix qui me sont offerts. donc en fait grosse manip pour ouvrir l'ordi comme il faut. je ne comprends pas d'où cela peut venir !!!! que dois-je faire ?? Merci

Il faut se lancer.
au besoin tu feras en petites étapes en commençant  par demander la liste des pilotes propriétaires qui seront proposés et en l'indiquant la discussion. je pense que quelqu'un saura te dire celui qu'il faut.ou du moins ceux à éviter.

quand j'affiche les pilotes additionnels il n'y a pas grand chose de proposé juste intel corporation Wireless 8260 avec en dessous indiqué "ce périphérique ne fonctionne pas" et en dessous une ligne continuer d'utiliser un pilote installé manuellement je peux cliquer dessus mais il ne se passe rien. en d'autres termes je suis paumé !!!!!

Si le mode recovery est acceptable, je ne sais plus que te proposer de mettre l'option "nomodeset" dans le boot normal.
Pour cela, il faut modifier cette ligne 

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=" "

contenue dans le fichier /etc/default/grub pour qu'elle devienne

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nomodeset"

et faire prendre en charge avec cette commande

sudo update-grub

Bonjour tout le monde, je ne sais pas où écrire ces lignes (merci quand meme Geode) esperant que ça ameliore le demarrage j'ai mis à niveua mon ordi avec la version 20.04.. premier démarrage super !!!! puis ça recommence à savoir écran noir au démarrage il faut que je manipule pas mal pour arriver au mode recovery et là ça marche. je précise que quand je vais chercher des pilts additionnels la case est vide !!!

Je te propose de généraliser l'option nomodeset du mode recovery. car je pense que c'est elle qui dépanne.
Pour cela tu vas modifier cette ligne
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
du fichier /etc/default/grub
pour qu'elle devienne
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset"
Puis faire prendre en compte pour le prochain boot

sudo update-grub
