Le conseil est donc de revenir à 18.04.
Ou faut-il encore espérer trouver une solution. Si j'opte pour la solution clef wifi il me faudrait savoir quelle type de clef est sur d'être reconnu par 20.04

Bonsoir,

On peut essayer ceci :

sudo sed -i "s/wifi.powersave = 3/wifi.powersave = 2/g" /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf

Ensuite tu redémarres sous windows pour faire fonctionner la WiFi, puis tu rebootes de nouveau sous linux et tu donnes le retour de :

dmesg | grep rtw

Le problème à priori est situé dans le noyau et non pas dans le firmware. Il sera nécessaire d'attendre une éventuelle correction.

Bonsoir,
Je n'avais même pas pensé à la solution windows. Comme quoi je suis totalement désintoxiqué. J'ai effectivement pu me connecté sans PB au réseau wifi sous Win.
J'espère qu'une correction du noyau va pouvoir régler le problème rapidement. En attendant, je vais opter pour une clef wifi nano des demain et enfin me décrocher du câble Ethernet auquel je suis accroché depuis dimanche. Pourrions nous créer une discussion qui suivrait l’évolution des pilotes ayant un problème dont le RTL8822BE???
Merci d'avoir passé tous ce temps pour m'aider dans mon problème qui trouvera je l'espère une solution d'ici peu... A suivre

Dans le doute, passe cette commande :

sudo update-initramfs

Puis tu redémarres sous windows pour faire fonctionner la WiFi, puis tu rebootes de nouveau sous linux et tu donnes le retour de :

dmesg | grep rtw

(le passage sous windows est pour faire un reset du composant WiFi).

@xubu : le bug n'est psa chez realtek, c'est le noyau. Realtek n'en sont pas responsables. Ca arrive...

@Logoden, essaie de relancer la WiFi sous windows en arrêtant le PC, le bug sous linux met la puce dans un état dans lequel elle ne communique plus. Et c'est très embêtant sur un portable car un vrai hard reset nécessite de retirer la batterie.

Pas vraiment exploitable dans notre cas car visiblement il y avait un problème de contact. Par contre L. Finger donne une information intéressante, la partie WiFi est gérée sur le port PCI et la partie bluetooth, sur le port USB

L'objectif de la procédure de @rhysperry111 est de reseter le module WiFi. Nous arrivons à le faire en passant par Windows. Ne te lance pas dans celle-ci, débrancher physiquement le module n'est potentiellement pas possible sur ta machine. (Et de toutes façons, ça n'apportera rien de plus).

Pour l'instant, je ne sais rien te proposer de plus. On peut toujours essayer de compiler le noyau avec la modif dans pci.c, mais il me faut du temps pour préparer la manip. Donne moi STP le retour de :

sudo lshw -class cpu

Au temps pour moi, il semblerait que ce soit le pci.c de rtw88 qui est en cause. Donc, ce serait bien Realtek (une fois de plus).

Par contre par rapport à ce qui est dit ici https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206411#c13, le pilote de L. Finger devrait fonctionner avec l'option pcie_aspm=off. Je repasserai tout à l'heure pour proposer un essai
