Bonsoir,
Je réouvre cette discution, car il m'arrive un gros souci. Suite à une manip indiquée ici une migration vers 20.04 s'est lancer directement sans que je la veuille. Il y a eu un plantage et elle, c'est interrompue. Maintenant j'ai un écran vert et les dossiers sur le bureau sont des rectangles blancs et inopérant. J'ai suivi  ça, mais rien n'y fait. Je suis perdu et ne sait plus quoi faire.

Non cela ne fonctionne pas. Lorsque je tape,

sudo dpkg --configure -a

je reviens à la fenêtre recovery mode et je ne peux pas faire 

sudo apt-get -f install

Je n'ai pas vérifié ma connexion. Je le ferais tout à l'heure s'il le faut. Un boot info serai peut-être nécessaire?

Bonjour,
j'ai voulu faire une session live et la plus rien. Je ne peux plus démarrer le pc. j'ai une fenêtre bleue avec ecrit:  ERROR could not install security protocol: '0x2) Invalid parameter   OK. Juste avant j'avais ouvert Windows pour vérifier qu'il fonctionnait. Si je clique sur OK j'ai  ceci et le pc s'éteint. Je ne peux plus rien faire.

Peut-être que dans le bios, tu as une option remise à l'état usine

Ou tout simplement  regarder  en premier si tu peux déactiver le mode secure

Bonjour geole et merci pour ton intérêt,
J'ai pu démarrer en live. J'ai fait un Boot info. Le problème cité précédemment intervient uniquement avec de disque dur. J'ai un souci avec la clé live, Ubuntu est en anglais, il ne m'a pas demandé de choisir la langue et le clavier passe en permanence en qwerty. Bref galère. Pour régler le problème de démarrage, il y aurait il moyen avec boot repair? Puis-je réparer mon installation via la session live?

Je pense que le shimx64 de la version 20.04  que tu viens d'installer

est incompatible avec  ton EFI
Il faut que tu trouves le moyen d'aller dans le bios et de déactiver le mode secure. Ce sont les touches F12 F1 Esc

Pourtant, au départ, j'arrivais bien sur le Grub. Il ne pourrait pas avoir un souci avec la fermeture de Windows? Cela est arrivé une fois que je l'ai ouvert pour m'assurer qu'il fonctionnait. Ce ne serai pas simplement un souci de grub ? C'est pour ça que j'ai pensé à boot repair.

et c'est le premier module de boot. (en amont de windows et de ubuntu)

Le problème est que je n'y arrive pas. Je quitte la session live et je refais un essai. Mais ensuite si j'y arrive pour relancer ma MAJ comment puis-je faire? N'y as t'il pas moyen d'annuler les changements déjà effectuer et revenir à la 18.04?

Si tu peux mettre en disable le  secure boot, cela pourrait booter avec le shim, mais si cela ne boote pas, on peut en installer un autre qui ne gère pas le mode sécure.

Je suis arrivé a modifié. Lorsque je redémarre j'ai toujours le même souci lié à l'interruption de la MAJ bien entendu. J'ai fait un rapport sur l'état du système avec le recovery mode et à la ligne connectivité réseau, il indique aucune. Ça ne voudrait pas dire que je n'ai pas d'internet. En session live, il fonctionnait. S'il n'y a pas de connexion y a t'il une solution pour l'activer

Une fois ubuntu démarrer j'avais cet écran qui est à l'envers et je n'ai pas pensé que je pouvais ouvrir le terminal à l'aide du clavier. Une fois ouvert j'ai suivi la procédure indiquée dans la page wiki sur la migration en tapant ces commandes:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install

Suite à ces 2 commande j'ai faits un reboot et Ubuntu à démarrer normalement
J'ai tapé la première sur l'invite de commande du recovery mode plusieurs fois, mais il ne se passait pas grand-chose et je ne pouvais pas taper la deuxième.

Le problème est réglé, mais je n'ai pas d'explication  sur le fait que la mise à niveau ce soit lancé avoir mon accord ou je n'ai pas compris ce que je faisais.

Si j'avais essayé d'ouvrir le terminal dès le départ cela aurait été réglé rapidement à moins que le mode sécure bloquais réellement. Mais la je n'y touche pas pour vérifier.
