Ceci dit, désinstallé les drivers puis les réinstallert, bien évidemment j'ai essayé, sans résulats.

Ce qui veut dire que tu es dans le cas cité sur launchpad. En gros, quand tu as installé/désinstallé les pilotes glx-new et glx n'arrivent plus à lancer X. Ceci est dû au fait que le fichier /lib/linux-restricted-modules/.nvidia_new_installed reste après la disinstallation du glx-new.

Il faut donc supprimer le fichier précédemment cité puis réinstaller le pilote glx et relancer X. Si le problème persiste, tenter de rebooter.

.. j'avais la meme erreur Marge (mais dans le sens inverse tongue) ... dans mon cas j'ai forcer a installer les glx-new .. voila wink

Me voilà de retour...

Lachement, j'ai finalement attendre que Envy se mette à jour pour réussir à installer un driver nvidia sans que le server x plante au redémarrage. J'ai donc utilisé envy 0.9.3 (version stable sous feisty) qui m'a installé le driver nvidia-glx (le 9631), et tt ce qui va bien avec puisque je n'ai jamais réussi à le faire moi-même! J'ai donc un beau logo nvidia au démarrage, le driver "nvidia" affiché dans mon xorg...

Par contre pour l'instant je ne vois pas de différence concernant l'accéleration graphique (beryl ne marche pas, ni jeux, ni économiseurs d'écran...) mais ça progresse!

regarde si dans le xorg.conf il y a la le loadkernelmodule true

sinon faire un truc genre

afin de savoir quelle erreur il y a encore.
