accélération graphique, XFree 86-DRI manquant

bonjour

j'ai un probleme quand je lance glxgears avec le terminal pour verifier mon accélération graphique
on m'affiche :
Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
du coup j'ai téléchargé cette extension avec synaptic et redémarré
mais l'accélération graphique ne marche toujours pas
