Problème perf Ati 9600

Bonjour, Bonjour

Je poste car je tourne en rond depuis pas mal de temps pour trouver le problème

Ma config : Barton 3000+, Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe (chipset NForce), 1Go DDR400, ATI Radon 9600 128Meg

J'ai tenté 2 types d'installation présente sur le wiki (wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati) pour le même résultat.
Le dernier essai, j'ai installé les drivers propriétaires d'ati 8.14.13 comme expliqué. L'installation se déroule sans encombre (j'ai sauté quand mm le fglrxconfig car je me galère à trouver les fréquences du moniteur etc), je reboot.

Je pense que c'est un peu faible au vu de mon matériel non ?

J'ai essayé de mettre mon UseInternal à "no"  rien de mieux

Le problème serait lié à l'agp non ?
Que faire ? Merci d'avance

C'est tout simplement parce que ATI bacle ( j'espère qu'il vont bientôt s'arrêter smile  ) ses drivers linux.
Si tu prends 2 cartes graphiques, l'une ATI l'autre Nividia, ayant des perfs équivalentes sous windows.
Eh bien elles ne seront pas du tout équivalentes sous Linux ...

Moi j'ai un P4 3Ghz, 512 Ram, ATI 9700 128 Mb, et Warcraft 3 n'est pas pas fluide à 100 %. ( la config mini pour ce jeu c'est 400 Mhz de proc, 128 de ram, et 32 de mémoire vidéo ).  Il ya une légère perte de perfs a cause de l'émulation mais bon ... Du coup je me trimballe encore ce windobe de mer^^ ... ( juste pour War3 ... )

Sois tu rachète une Nvidia, ou alors si tes revenus se limitent à
10 € d'argent de poche/mois comme moi :s,
tu croisent les doigts pour qu'ATI se bougent le cul big_smile.
