Bonjour n'arrivant pas à installer ubuntu sur un PC HP avec W10. je suis passé par virtual box en installant ubuntu 20.04. c'est pourquoi j'écris dans cette discussion. toutefois j'aimerai savoir si à la lecture de mon boot info ci dessous, quelqu'un pourrait m'aider à installer comme il se doit cet ubuntu sans passer par la machine virtuelle. Bonjour, après plusieurs jours d'absence je réitère ma demande d'aide.. je fais un petit récapitulatif... j'ai un PC HP modèle HP Notebook 17-x034nf comme je n'arrivais pas à installer Ubuntu 18.04 je suis passé par virtual box. ça marche mais j'aimerai quand même pouvoir l installer vraiment sur mon PC. ceux qui veulent bien m'aider, trouveront, si besoin, les infos issues du boot info dans le message précédent. pour ne prendre aucun risque je préfère pour le moment l'installer à côté de W10 et voir après si possible de ne garder que Ubuntu. Merci de vos aides. cordialement

Bonjour,
Je te conseille de réaliser une LiveUSB de Ubuntu 20.04.1. Je suppose que tu as déjà le fichier ISO de cette version 20.04.1 d'après ce qu'on peut voir dans le Boot-info (*). Quand ce sera fait, au démarrage de ton ordi sur la LiveUSB Ubuntu 20.04.1, il faudra sélectionner la deuxième ligne du menu "Try Ubuntu without installing (safe graphics)" (voir photo) au lieu de la première ligne du menu. Cette option "safe graphics" devrait permettre un affichage correct. Raconte si tu arrives par ce chemin à une utilisation possible en session live : si tu peux ouvrir Firefox et naviguer normalement sur le net.
EDIT : au cas où, je te signale ce tuto du site LE CRABE INFO qui détaille comment réaliser une LiveUSB Ubuntu depuis Windows grâce au logiciel Rufus : https://lecrabeinfo.net/creer-cle-usb-i … ebian.html (sauf que toi tu vas utiliser l'ISO de 20.04.1 au lieu de l'ISO de 20.04) Autant pour moi, le tuto du site ubuntu-fr est préférable à celui du CRABE INFO : Créer une clé USB live Ubuntu à partir de Windows avec Rufus
(*) Le fichier ISO à utiliser est ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso donc si tu n'as pas le bon fichier, il faudra commencer par le télécharger.

C'est peut-être normal. Je te prie de faire un Boot-info depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.

merci du conseil, malheureusement je n'ai pas accès au gestionnaire de démarrage du SE, j'ai juste les choix classiques sur usb, sur cd, etc... je pense que je vais supprimer windows en faisant une sauvegarde. à ce sujet juste une question... est ce que la partition prise par W10 revient d'office libre pour ubuntu après sa suppression ? merci

Bonjour tout le monde, n'arrivant pas à démarrer sur ubuntu et ne pouvant changer l'ordre d'amorçage, j'ai désinstallé ubuntu en le supprimant de la partition.... Mon problème est que maintenant mon PC "vicieux" sur l'écran noir du GRUB... il y a juste grub affiché avec une petite > j'ai TOUT essayé pour supprimer le grub avec différentes méthodes indiquées ici ou d'autres sites et rien à faire il est toujours là. pour ouvrir W10 je passe donc par la touche F9..... Quelqu'un peut il m'aider ??? Je ne sais plus quoi faire... j'ai meme essayé de réinstaller ubuntu mais ça plante et ce quelque soit la version.... Bref je suis perdu !!! Merci de votre future aide

donc je clique sur le 2ème et c'est bon. mais j'aimerai éviter d'avoir cette manip à faire. Je précise que j'ai essayé avec plusieurs appli genre grub2win et autres et rien n'y a fait !!! c'est comme si mon bios resté bloqué la dessus quoi que je fasse !!!!

En principe, ça se règle dans le Bios en sélectionnant la ligne "Gestionnaire de démarrage du SE" et là tu dois voir une fenêtre qui s'ouvre comme sur cette photo : https://i86.servimg.com/u/f86/15/35/35/67/img_2010.jpg
A l'aide des touches F5 et F6, tu dois pouvoir faire en sorte que "Windows Boot Manager" se trouve au dessus de "ubuntu" comme sur la photo. Alors qu'actuellement tu dois avoir "ubuntu" en haut et "Windows Boot Manager" en dessous. Si tu y parviens, il faudra presser la touche F10 pour sauvegarder ce réglage. Ensuite, tu ne devrais plus avoir besoin de presser F9 à l'avenir : l'ordi devrait démarrer directement sur Windows 10.
