Radeon HD 7850, pentium G4560 et xubuntu 18.04.3
Salut à tous.
Disposant d'une machine bureautique rapide (Pentium G4560, 16Go de RAM en DDR4, SSD NVMe), je cherche à installer une Radeon HD 7850 twin frost retrouvée dans un tiroir, uniquement pour lancer à l'occasion flightgear...
Sauf que je rencontre des problemes avec le HD 610 de mon processeur.
J'ai correctement installé le driver AMD via leur script, mais le driver AMDGPU n'est pas chargé à priori, uniquement les drivers ati et vesa.
Et la je patauge...
Car si je branche mon écran sur le port hdmi de ma carte mère, aucun problème, j'utilise le hd 610 correctement installé.
Mais si je branche mon écran sur la HD 7850, je suis en 720x480 max, avec des performances pour le moins pourries...
Une idée?

Désolé pour le délai, j'étais parti de mon domicile.
De retour devant mon pc, j'en ai profité pour partir d'une base saine, à savoir un xubuntu LTS 18.04.3 fraichement installée et mise à jour.
J'ai toujours le même problème.

Merci pour ton retour ! De ce que je vois, le pilote amdgpu est bien chargé par ta machine, tandis que l'antique pilote radeon ne l'est pas (ce qui est tout à fait le résultat à obtenir lorsqu'on décide d'utiliser le pilote amdgpu pour un GPU compatible).
Donnes le retour de cat /etc/default/grub

La commande lsmod que tu as donné permet de lister les modules chargés par ton système au moment où la dite commande est exécutée : on voit que "radeon" ne figure pas dans la liste, tandis que "amdgpu" y figure
Je ne pense pas que ça fera la différence, mais au cas où : sudo nano /etc/default/grub
Et changes la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" par GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash radeon.si_support=0 radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 amdgpu.cik_support=1"
Appuies sur Ctrl+X pour sauvegarder le fichier, exécutes la commande sudo update-grub et redémarres ton PC. Essaies de brancher ton écran sur la carte graphique AMD et dis nous ce que ça donne.

En effet, ça ne change rien:
suis toujours limité à 720x400...Et ce qui est étrange, c'est que cela met 0hz en taux de raffraichissement...!
