Problème de démarrage suite à mise à jour. Résolu

Bonjour,
Si quelqu'un pouvais me filer un coup de main pour régler ce problème un peu pénible...Par avance , merci.
sous 18.04 LTS , j'ai fait une mise à jour le 29/04/2019 et depuis le démarrage m'affiche de ligne voir pire une" barre graphique" bug l'écran.
En général la touche Échap permet le démarrage et après tout semble normal.
J'ai fait cette ligne de commande vue sur un post similaire et voila le résultat:
Commande:
ls -l /var/crash
résultat:
total 1688
-rw-r----- 1 lemiere whoopsie 1725638 avril 29 20:34 _usr_bin_xfce4-power-manager.1000.crash

Je ne sais pas si ça parle ...

Bonjour,
Je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session live de Ubuntu 18.04 et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
Ce serait utile que tu donnes le nom complet du modèle de ton ordi et son fabricant.

Je pense qu'il faut que tu essaies de démarrer sur l'avant-dernier noyau. Pour cela, il faut forcer l'apparition du menu Grub au démarrage de l'ordi en pressant la touche Echap. Bonsoir Malbo,
effectivement je parviens à démarrer en suivant ta méthode c'est un peu plus long que d'habitude. En faite, je vais devoir utiliser cette technique de démarrage à chaque fois? Je réussissais à démarrer (une fois sur deux) en faisant un échap dès que le bug arrivait, mais ta technique semble plus efficace. Comme c'est suite à une mise à jour pense tu qu'une prochaine puisse me restituer un démarrage normal ou il y a un truc à faire?

Il n'y a rien à faire à mon avis. Tu devras démarrer comme ça pendant quelques jours et tu constateras qu'un nouveau noyau s'est installé automatiquement (ce devrait être le noyau 4.15.0-49). Tu essaieras de démarrer sur ce noyau et si ça marche, tu n'auras plus à passer par le noyau 4.15.0-47. Arrivé là, tu pourrais décider de supprimer le noyau 4.15.0-48 qui ne fonctionne pas mais je te conseille de ne rien faire. Ubuntu 18.04 fait automatiquement le ménage en arrière plan pour ne laisser que les deux derniers noyaux. Au bout de quelque temps, ce noyau 4.15.0-48 sera supprimé par ce service de nettoyage. Toutefois, si tu tiens absolument à supprimer ce noyau 4.15.0-48 qui ne fonctionne pas, tu peux suivre les indications de ce paragraphe 5.2 Méthode manuelle

Bonjour ,

Suite à mise à jour du 29 ou 30 avril il semblerais que je soit confronté au même problème avec un PC qui reste en mode " écran-noir " sans jamais vouloir démarrer ou " RE-démarrer " sad

La seule solution qui m'est permis de démarrer et de fait de poster ce message eu été de l'éteindre et de retirer la batterie , je sait c'est pas bien mais ...............
et comme je suis une vraie quiche pour bricoler dans ubuntu , ce que j'évite de faire d'ailleur je me contente de mettre à jour avec les mises à jour recommandées , sauf que là ............. j'ai cependant tenté de faire un " boot-info " mais comme c'est la toute première fois je ne sait ce que ça va donner , bref , voyons voir si j'ai compris

Dans ce rapport de bug, il s'agit de Ubuntu 16.04 équipé de HWE stack c'est à dire que c'est la version 16.04 de Ubuntu mais avec le noyau de la 18.04. C'est pour ça que certains utilisateurs de la 1604 peuvent être affectés.

Bonjour Malbo,
oui en faite, j'ai fait muter 16.04 vers 18.04, ça viendrai de cela ? Il faut réinstaller 18.04 en remplacement de mon système qui n'a que le noyau 18.04 ? C'est la solution?

@Lemière : tu n'es pas du tout obligé de réinstaller quoi que ce soit. Le souci, c'est un bug du noyau 4.15.0-48 donc c'est aux développeurs de bosser pour résoudre ce problème.

Bonjour,
Je crains que le bug (*) ne soit pas près d'être résolu. Je te suggère de suivre la procédure que j'ai décrite dans ce post : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p22088746
Sauf que l'éditeur de texte que tu utilises doit être Gedit donc j'adapte la procédure ci-dessous pour Gedit à ton intention :

...modifier le fichier /etc/default/grub en utilisant l'éditeur de texte Gedit avec pouvoir administrateur (ne tape pas cette commande : utilise le copier-coller pour éviter les erreurs de frappe) :

gedit admin:///etc/default/grub

Dans ce fichier, il faudra enlever le caractère # qui se trouve en tête de la ligne :

#GRUB_TERMINAL=console

pour que cette ligne devienne :

GRUB_TERMINAL=console

Tu en profiteras pour forcer l'affichage du menu Grub au démarrage en modifiant la ligne :

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden

pour qu'elle devienne (cette fois, il faudra ajouter le caractère # en tête de ligne) :

#GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden

Ensuite, enregistrer dans Gedit et quitter
Et enfin, passer la commande de mise à jour de Grub :

sudo update-grub

Merci malbo,
tu es décidément le Grand Gourou car cette méthode m'a permis de me remettre en confiance
face à un ordi qui commençait, suite à une MAJ, à avoir ce curieux comportement à l'allumage.
